The Staff here is Excellent!! Love them all very helpful and professional. Ana is so kind and helpful always ready to help the residents and Yaritza is so nice and helpful. They both are always helping the residents and they really care about the residents. They are like family to me. Maintenance is excellent VERY FAST SERVICE AND PROFESSIONAL!! THE STAFF makes this place a GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. I have lived here from the Opening of the property. Keep up the good work Guys you all are like My Familia. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! Don't believe any Negative reviews these people are WONDERFUL AND CARING. ANA EXCELLENT professional service as she is the first one you will see as you enter. Yaritza Wonder Excellent job Ladies. Lady in the front was very rude and unapproachable. They act as if they only want the Spanish people to live here. She tried to tell me about my character as if that was a part of her job most definitely misleading whenever I do call over the phone I don’t get an answer. What is the point in having a phone linevery very very misleading. It’s supposed to be front desk answering the phones and they do not answer the phone. It always goes to voicemail you leave a message they never call you back.

Excellent apartment community to live in, and a great combination of quality and affordability. I was a resident for 8 years, until I had to move to a different city. The staff is excellent, both managers and maintenance staff.  Property Manager Yari and Assistant manager Ana are both professional and helpful. The maintenance staff is also professional and responsive to maintenance requests.
The reason for three star is what I mentioned above and the reason for not giving the five star review is what will be mentioned below.
The Landlord (Ehlinger Apartments, LTD) has a Home Ownership Incentive program in which if you are residing continually for at least 2 full years and you provide proof of home purchase with other requirements, you would receive the incentive.
One of the requirement is to close on the home within 90 days of moving out. I purchased a new construction home but when I signed the purchase agreement and gave the deposit, the completion of the home was within the 90 day period. But due to circumstances beyond anyone control and due to shortages in the market, the home was not completed in time and I was not able to close on the home within that period.
I explained my point to the property management (SPM, Inc.) that was handling the incentive program but they denied my incentive for home ownership.
I think SPM Property Management was unreasonable and unfair to both the spirit of the home ownership incentive program by the landlord and to the tenant who resided in the community for 8 years.

I left a 5 star because this management truly deserve that. Every member of their staff is respectful, kind, and fair to me and everyone that I see them interact with. Yari shows pure professionalism every single time we interact. Her mood is always fulfilling and I appreciate her patience and understanding. Most people go by in life and don't know your personal circumstances. Yari simply let me borrow her ears one time, and the compassion of just listening was rewarding to me. Ana is another person in the office that has a magnificent personality. She's always attentive, detail-oriented, and every form of communication is effective here: phone, email, letter, correspondence... you name it. The maintenance crew is very competent and omg, what would I do without them. I actually learn a few tips from them that will help me keep up maintenance in the long run. everyone around here is friendly and caring. The neighbors are peaceful and the community is quiet. I have lived here since May 2017 and it has always felt like "home." I will miss this place soooo much when it's time to leave!! Some of the most Golden years of my life were spent here in East Village!!

What a wonderful place to live, very quiet, well cared for. The administration does a great job, they always maintain the units very well, the common areas are always clean and the green areas are well maintained. Thank you Yari and Ana for your work, availability, kindness and professionalism. It took several months of waiting before we could get the apartment as units are not always available but it was worth the wait. I love this place, it is a blessing from God for my family! Don't be discouraged!
