Renter beware: while the building is nic ...
Renter beware: while the building is nice and amenities solid, there is non-stop barking (before 7am) if you have a unit that is near the dog park (in North building from the x20 to x40 unit number). This stems from the dog watchers not monitoring the dogs and poor dog control (including off leash) by dog owners. Despite repeated complaints, including time-stamped videos, management does nothing on this. Other residents have shared similar complaints with us when questioned.

If we find examples of residents who are not following the Good Neighbor Commitment we will take action where needed to cure these situations. One of our goals is to keep our community clean and sanitary, and being a pet friendly building we have and will continue addressing complaints about dog waste or improper monitoring. The worst problem of this difficult situation is the incompetence of the Association, the manager Melissa ignores the cases, pretending to be misunderstood, she has not been able to manage this building for many years, she displeases the residents and must be removed from management as soon as possible

Hello Denise, thank you for your feedback. The Flamingo has some privately owned condominiums in our South tower that are not owned or managed by Air Communities. Since you mentioned an Association I thought that might refer to an HOA as we do not recognize a Melissa on our staff but a Melissa does manage the HOA in the south tower. It’s not perfect but is a great location ...
It’s not perfect but is a great location. Way overpriced in my opinion for what’s offered vs what you pay for and the gym is shown as an amenity but there is an additional membership charge (should be free IMO). Other than that I’m fairly happy here.

This place has beautiful views of the bay, solid construction, and a great layout of the grounds, including 2 pools and on-site restaurants with friendly workers. The workers clean the grounds during the day, which is good. However, I give it two stars because there are problems: the package room is poorly run. You have to pay for package delivery, and yet I waste tons of time every week when I can't find packages. It is SUPER frustrating and a collossal waste of time to be told you have a package, and it's not in the locker, and no one can find it. Also, the place has rules, but the administration doesn't enforce them: letting dogs run off leash, selfish people not picking up after their dogs (yuck), peope playing loud music after hours, smoking in a non-smoking property.

However, it is unfortunate that you have concerns regarding the packaging system and the Good Neighbor policy. Due to the high volume of packages we receive we understand there is a need for change with the package room. If there would be an option to leave -1 that’s what I’d pick. We came here a year ago and our fault to do not pay attention to the previous reviews. If any given place has less than 4 stars apparently that’s for the reason. They rip you off. Management is horrible. On the top of the rent you pay $400-600 for all the random stuff that they don’t tell you about. Gym is not included, you gotta pay a 100 dollar for a dog… INSANE… and this is them being “dog friendly” In short, do yourself a favor: go and spend your money somewhere else, Flamingo is all about ROI

Wow! What a beautiful place to live. The grounds are gorgeous and feel like walking through a lush jungle, the views are unbelievable, and the pools are lovely. Manuel in the leasing office was incredibly helpful and responsive. He made sure we had all information necessary to have a great beginning at Flamingo Point, I highly recommend him. Teresita manages packages, and always has a smile on her face which makes picking up packages fun and less of a chore! She works exceptionally hard to ensure everything is orderly and organized. I look forward to meeting the rest of the Flamingo Point family, and hope to live here for years to come!

I've been here for a week. The most terrible experience so far. I can't go anywhere without my boyfriend because they haven't been able to add me to the lease for over a week now. Although my boyfriend was added in a couple of hours and the next day he made a fingerprint and keys. They told me that they added it to the lease yesterday. That evening I went down to the office and it turned out that it was closed from 4 to 6 pm for unknown reasons. Today I went down again and was told we don’t see you in the system. What is happening in this complex is not clear to me. I’m already tired of asking the workers to open the doors for me and saying that I’m a guest here. Regarding parcels, this is a different story; delivery workers sometimes simply do not find this complex and do not deliver the parcels. The gym, residents say, is paid. Only one pool is working, as the second one has been cleaned of dirt for a week. There are no words, honestly.
