Sabal Chase HOA and Clubhouse

Association fees keep increasing, now at approximately 750.00 a month and nothing to account for. The lawn company is ridiculous, I had to pay to trim my front edges and trees, they absolutely lied to me and kept making excuses not to do it. I complained to the association manager and nothing happened. They kept saying they were changing the bad roof, they only patched it, replacing the rotten wood on all premises, painting the building and fixing the parking and walk ways, I have been here two years and nothing have been done, now not even security. I think it is time for owners to get together and file and investigation/ complain with the State Department

Claudia was very helpful and proactive with my request for improving the landscaping outside of my home. She listened to me and was able to provide on her promise. I love my new landscaping and appreciate Claudia’s responsiveness.

We had a great time very accommodating and great space rental for events only 150 if you are a resident.

It is sad that such a lovely neighborhood is plagued with such bad management. Despite the positives that Sabal Chase offers, it does not outweigh the negatives that make up those involved in the decision making of the Sabal Chase Association. As we move into tougher economic times, it is highly recommended that you seek homeownership elsewhere. The association fees are astronomical and the benefits are non existent, BUYER BEWARE.

Do not be fooled by the positive reviews here posted by brokers and real estate agents trying to make this HOA look better than it is. We’ve lived in this neighborhood since the early 2000’s and have spent over a decade being harassed by this HOA. This neighborhood is beautiful on the outside but suffers from car and house break ins and is very unsafe. We had to have an alarm installed in our house to ensure my family was safe. Instead of focusing on safety and major concerns, this HOA spends our money on harassing home owners about futile situations - I.e. potted plants in the front yard, bistro lights hanging in a patio, or wind chimes. As much as I love this neighborhood, this HOA, in particularly Rachel, the property manager, will ensure she wastes your money on circumstances that do not matter to your every day safety and life. We have been harassed (and seeking legal retaliation) towards Rachel over potted plants in our front yard, which we received approval to have. There are better neighborhoods in kendall nearby that will not create havoc in your life over mundane things.

Great place to live.  Convenient access to roads, highways, shopping, schools, etc.  Clubhouse and amenities can't be beat.  I love it here.  Oh yes, there is a great coffee shop and pizza in the central strip mall.
