Sabal Chase HOA and Clubhouse

I’ve lived in this quiet neighborhood since 2009.  Recently retired I have the opportunity to enjoy the amenities.    The area is kept clean and neat.   I’ve had several contacts with the HOA office and always had a positive response. The staff plus maintenance is always friendly and helpful. I’ve asked for my door to be changed and it was done in a timely manner.   My landscaping is always trimmed. Recently they contacted me to repair something I didn’t even know needed repair.

**Sabal Chase HOA Review** I regret to say that my experience with the Sabal Chase Homeowners Association has been overwhelmingly negative. The state of our community is concerning, and it feels like it's falling apart.
One particularly troubling issue is the wooden gates, which are deteriorating and, in some cases, collapsing into neighboring properties. It's frustrating to see a lack of action on such a visible problem. Additionally, the grass is so overgrown that it's not just an eyesore; it's a deterrent for pet owners. My dog refuses to walk on the uneven, unkempt grass, which is both inconvenient and disappointing.
The roadways are another significant concern. They frequently flood, making them hazardous and difficult to navigate. This issue has been persistent, yet it remains unaddressed.
Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of all is the management—or lack thereof. There is little to no response to homeowners' requests or concerns, leaving us feeling unheard and ignored. It's disheartening to see such a lack of attention to the needs of our community.
In short, the Sabal Chase HOA is in dire need of improvement. Without proactive management and timely repairs, our community's quality of life will continue to decline. I sincerely hope that changes are made soon for the betterment of all residents.

Association fees keep increasing, now at approximately 750.00 a month and nothing to account for. The lawn company is ridiculous, I had to pay to trim my front edges and trees, they absolutely lied to me and kept making excuses not to do it. I complained to the association manager and nothing happened. They kept saying they were changing the bad roof, they only patched it, replacing the rotten wood on all premises, painting the building and fixing the parking and walk ways, I have been here two years and nothing have been done, now not even security. I think it is time for owners to get together and file and investigation/ complain with the State Department

Claudia was very helpful and proactive with my request for improving the landscaping outside of my home. She listened to me and was able to provide on her promise. I love my new landscaping and appreciate Claudia’s responsiveness.

We had a great time very accommodating and great space rental for events only 150 if you are a resident.

It is sad that such a lovely neighborhood is plagued with such bad management. Despite the positives that Sabal Chase offers, it does not outweigh the negatives that make up those involved in the decision making of the Sabal Chase Association. As we move into tougher economic times, it is highly recommended that you seek homeownership elsewhere. The association fees are astronomical and the benefits are non existent, BUYER BEWARE.
