The Asher

I’ve lived here for over two years now and I have to say this is the most beautiful and relaxing a neighborhood in the city! The best part is the funny and friendly staff and manager Claudia who always helps me with any problem I have, and the maintenance guys are quick to solve problems as well. Stay at the Asher!

The Asher is a nice place with great amenities on-site.  Angie was great with property tour and application process.

I’ve been living in this community since April 2024, and I absolutely love it here! It’s such a peaceful and beautiful place with a lake view which is just breathtaking. Thanks to Alish for the smooth move in at that time. Recently, I decided to move into an another unit within the same community, and I must say, the whole process was made incredibly easy thanks to Claudia, the manager. My move was a bit sudden, but Claudia made it happen within just two weeks! She is always sweet and attentive to any issues. Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience☺️

I recently visited this apartment and overall had a positive experience. The building itself was well-maintained, with clean hallways and modern amenities. Josh, who was super nice. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions.

Loved the excellent personal service and hospitality. They made me feel at home.

Have been living since 2005 and have seen many managers come and go but most recently, our new manager Claudia and the staff have been amazing. I’ve had several issues for years and within days, almost all has been resolved. I appreciate her kindness and her way of understanding and being helpful. And Claudia acted very expeditiously & transparently with  her staff ..… prime example during the ice freezing period in January … No heat 3 days over the 2 weekends , thermostat stopped working and she coordinated maintenance to replace it, both mfg.  defect,
and restored heat …  I’m truly grateful for her attention , caring, and professional relationship ., thank you for Claudia

Do not rent here! I moved here because when I first did the tour they conveniently avoided all the problem areas in the community. It is overpriced for the area, and disgusting. First and foremost they charge you for background screening and do not even run a check. Then they charge you an ‘approval fee’.
The units are updated poorly and have many issues. I literally had hundreds of work orders, many repetitive and the work would just never get done.
The entire property is covered in cat shit, duck shit, and infested with raccoons. There are chickens and roosters everywhere. They do not properly take care of the trash causing literally packs of raccoons to enter every single night!! They barely pick up the valet trash you pay for and then try to charge you if the animals that are on the property then make a mess of said garbage.
The pool area is always dirty and disgusting. You cannot enjoy the pool area without trash everywhere.
There is a large pothole in the front of the property that has been in disrepair for months, the gate never works.. was broken half the time I lived there.
The mailbox was broken literally the entire time I lived there and they’re aware. They hoarded my mail in the front office and didn’t give it to me til I left, which by the way is illegal.
I had water enter my unit in several occasions and they’re aware and took months to correct it.
I tried for months to get out my lease or be transferred as I was having issues with my unit, including a big open hole in the wall with mold that was not repaired but also a neighbor who was pretty much stalking me.. because I had to call the cops due to domestic violence in the unit. they must’ve not done a screening for him because it turns out he had a record.
I had a problem moving from here because although they told me I could move they kept reporting that I did not pay. I was holding rent because of the disrepair and I asked to pay for that month and get a letter to show potential communities that I’ve cleared the balance they claimed I owed and they refused. And continued to charge me then ask when I planned on leaving.
Now I’ve moved out over a month ago, they didn’t make any claims against my security deposit in the appropriate time frame (they’re allowed 30 days) and when I reached out requesting that deposit back they claimed to have sent it to me however they sent it the same day I requested it be sent.
This place is literally a bunch of problems.
The property manager Claudia sits outside all day chain smoking cigarettes and pretending to work but will never get back to you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough good things about Claudia  When I first moved in, the previous management gave me a unit that was far from ideal. But as soon as Claudia took over, she completely turned things around. She quickly accommodated me with a new unit at the same price, with a much better view, and went above and beyond to undo all the issues caused by the prior management. She is professional, attentive, and truly cares about the residents. I’m beyond grateful for her help and the effort she puts into making sure everything runs smoothly. If every property manager was like Claudia , renting would be an stress-free experience. Thank you, Claudia!

Nice quiet community, no noise disturbances, have the 95, the Turnpike and 441 close by, gated and the gate is always closed, which was a must for me, there is valet trash which was a must as well. There is a great gym in the community as well, I usually don’t like gyms in apartment complexes but the one in here is nice with great equipments. I have an incredible huge lake view from my living room and bedroom. I don’t have great things to say about the Property Directors from my previous residences but Claudia the Property Director here is amazing, she has been and continue to be hands on, so nice, she has been from my tour to my move in, super respectful, caring and empathetic, she has done everything and continue to do everything to make sure I am comfortable and happy here.  All service requests I put in gets attended to by the next business day, 2 days at the most, this was big for me as well, the maintenance guys are great.

Beautiful landscaping, a quiet and calming place to live. Great gym and gorgeous pool area, the staff and management are really nice. but I  had several issues with mold for some time.
