Avalon Apartments

DO NOT RENT HERE, by far the worst place to live. A lot of mold and building is extremely old. The building structure is tilting to one side extremely humid inside as it has no central A/C. Management will charge for everything, even things the tenant did not do. Management team is not professional and always rude. This building needs a lot of updates and new management.

If I could give it less than one star, I would.  Let's start with the administration officer and the maintenance team. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Bad attitude, Every time we have a complaint about something, she always blames it on the renters.  The building is almost 100 years old. The maintenance team is not professional. They are not qualified and probably underpaid people. it's better to do it yourself. There are cracks on the walls, and there is mold everywhere. The floors are crooked. 3 months ago, I had toilet clogging problems.  I notified them that I had the problem. The person they sent made a mess all around the apartment.  Later on, I get a text from the administration that "I had to clean that mess" that her "plumber" left.  It obviously wasn't a professional it was the underpaid and unlicensed staff they have working in the area.  I lost over a thousand dollars in shoes and guess what, not even a dollar back.  On the opposite I got a termination notice for contacting the city about the building.

DONT RENT HERE.  Apartments have black mold and the management doesn’t respond to fix.  Their rent tactics are punitive and they are trying to evict tenants to have rental pricing sky rocket. Do yourself and your health a favor and avoid this rental place.
