This place might SEEM okay if you were previously homeless. However, if you don't like roaches, RATS or ants, find another place. Keeping your apartment clean won't help, trust me. Also, you will rarely have a moment of peace and quiet. The walls and doors are paper thin. You will hear constant work of the maintenance crew and the distraction of seeing the shadows of people walking past the front and back door (which are made from the glass pieces, which are supposed to open, but most often broken). People often stop to have loud conversations in the hallways, and it very loud. If you value your privacy and peace-and-quiet, there are better options available. And please be cautious and don't lean on the hand railings. They are old, the metal is corroded and dangerously loose in many areas. Everything is outdated in the apartments. Old cabinets, cheap quality floors, inefficient wall-unit air conditioners, old windows that don't resist heat, etc. This means higher utility bills for you... And it looks like management has recently raised rents by about $300 PER MONTH! That is shameful considering there are so many quiet, decent, updated & clean apartments available that are much closer to the beach. Property manager is incompetent, lazy and vindictive (you know the type). All of the neighbors from the surrounding buildings (who are mostly condo owners) HATE this building and the people who live here (it's an eye sore in the neighborhood). They walk from many block away just to let their dogs use this property as they bathroom. Sad. Good luck on your decision. UPDATE: the owner is attempting to fool you into believing that these comments relate to a past manager that was replace. Please know that these comments relate to the current management team. And if you harass them for 8 months, they will bring you a used a/c. It's like pulling teeth. They don't do the right thing. Sorry. The truth is the truth...
