Eclipse West Apartments

I have lived here for several years and have enjoyed the bright spacious apartment however, there have been some issues . In November of this year, we got a new management and let me tell you things have changed any issues that we had before have been resolved. There are no more roaches. A new pest control company monthly and the problem  is fixed✔️The parking lot is  olonger in darkness but bright and safe ✔️ And there is a feminine touch around the building, making it seem like home .Should you have a problem the manager is available and interested to help you. There is a new vibrancy in the building!!!

I’ve been living at Eclipse Apartments for 11 years, and I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years. Recently, we’ve had a new management company take over, along with a new manager, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The new manager has truly turned things around. She’s incredibly responsive and has addressed issues that were overlooked by the previous management. It’s clear that she’s committed to making the community better for all of us. The apartment complex is well-maintained, and I’ve noticed a real difference in how things are being handled. I’m grateful for the improvements and excited to see what’s next!

I have lived in this building for 15 years, and my experience has been very positive. Regarding the other reviewer complaining about roaches, it is unfortunate that she painted a picture that does not reflect the overall qualities of the building and its current management. The previous manager did not adequately address pest control, which was a problem. However, the current manager has implemented a mandatory monthly pest control sweep of all apartments. I am happy to report that I haven’t seen a roach since the new manager took over.
The building offers a long list of amenities, including ample resident parking, close proximity to the beach, and a gym with state-of-the-art equipment—features you won’t find at this price point anywhere else in Fort Lauderdale, especially downtown. I am also pleased with the improvements being made by the new owners and management.
Some highlights include the floor-to-ceiling impact-resistant windows and sliding door in the living room, which provide excellent soundproofing, as well as the spacious one-bedroom apartments that comfortably accommodate a king-sized bed. The steel front apartment doors make living here feel very safe, and each unit is equipped with a built-in fire sprinkler system for added peace of mind.
While the building could use a refresh with new paint and similar updates, I feel confident that the new management will address these issues in a timely manner.
Overall, this is a quality building with great amenities, proactive new management, and a central downtown location. I feel safe here and am happy to call Eclipse my home.

I visit a friend there, and it's a safe and nice place the way I see it, and my friends are happy there too.

ROACH INFESTED!!! Should be shut down by the FLORIDA health department. You will get NO sleep because, roaches have taken over. Don't be fooled by nice pictures and a clean lobby. Inside; the apartment is DISGUSTING. The exterminator comes out monthly. It isn't working. Management NOT hiring a better extermination company is DESPICABLE. Run far away from this ROACH City building or you'll be sorry. Trust!

The management is friendly and accommodating. The apartment itself is well-maintained and spacious, with modern amenities that make living here comfortable. The location is convenient, close to shopping and dining options. I would definitely recommend these apartments for anyone looking for a nice place to live with great staff

The area is highly walkable and a popular choice for those who enjoy the downtown scene. It boasts a wide range of cultural offerings including art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs, all conveniently located within a 5-mile radius. However, some residents neglect the common areas and fail to maintain their units. The community is comprised of a mix of educated and uneducated individuals who appreciate the affordable housing options. The building is managed by a friendly and professional team who keep it well-maintained. Still, unfortunately, the owners have not invested in amenities that could improve the overall atmosphere and increase property value. For example, adding security cameras, brighter lighting in the parking lot, and more trash containers throughout the building would enhance safety and cleanliness. Clear signage outlining pet rules would also be beneficial.
