Ocean front 2BRs have great views. However, windows are quite mediocre, they say it’s hurricane-proof, but even a slight storm can (slightly) flood a condo (heard about bigger incidents at neighbors). The engineers didn’t create any way for the wind to escape the balcony, you can hear how water makes noise inside the condo (it’s the third several days long storm this season, we spent 10-12 days listening to gurgling water inside the condo plus the wind noise 24 hours a day).
During summer months it is getting super hot in the room which has no balcony in front of it.
AC doesn’t help much since the temperature sensor is in the other room.
AC unit itself is inside, and it’s quite noisy.
Hallways are slightly dated.
Elevators are actually good.
Many tourists in the building but good crowd in general
Staff: friendly management, however, responded to our window requests as No worries, we cannot do anything, it’s normal.
The beach team is okay.
The pier attracts homeless folks from time to time.
The pier bar is leaned back and gives a 25% discount to residents.
Overall it would be 4 out 5 for price-quality-location, but the window issues reduce it to 3 starts. And it’s unlikely the windows will be replaced anytime soon.
Should be okay for short-term stay I guess.
If anyone fixed the window issues please comment. Thanks
