Lauderdale Tower Condo

The only good thing about this place is the location. That would be it. Poorly managed building!!! Bikes are being stolen and we have continues attempts of breaking into cars. Police is a regular visitor in this place! NOT SAFE!!! No security at night. The management and board of directors completely ignores my suggestions and complaints. The building is super old and going through constant construction. There is a number of liens on the property which makes it difficult to sell, buy or refinance. Trash shoots constantly get clogged up. Front door works from time to time and can be very easily opened without a fob key. The pool has the coldest water ever, which makes it impossible to swim in the evening. The AC breaks down constantly. This creates a very dangerous and unhealthy environment. The mold is a SERIOUS health threat in this building. Elevator constantly breaks down also. Happened to me when I had hundreds of dollars worth of groceries and perishables. Not only did I take a financial loss, I took an emotional one as well. This place is very much mismanaged. They practice selective enforcement in ticketing cars which is very unfair. Also, worry for your car to get hit by some moving truck or another car if your parking spot is in front of the building. The parking is terrible here. Tiny narrow spots with only 2 guest spots.
It’s a terrible place to own or rent!!!
06.01.21 update: the management and board of directors removed the grill which makes it uncomfortable to use (1 grill for the whole building (it's a complete joke) and now the area where the grill was taken out looks bare and infested with ants.
Unfortunately, the whole building is an eyesore with incomplete construction in front of it. It has been unfinished for almost 3 years and counting.
09.19.2022 update: And yet again in one day 2 stolen bikes + vandalized car. And nothing is being done about that. The security at the front desk was watching youtube and of course didn’t see anything while we called the police ourselves. Actually, all this nonsense with bikes and cars started to happen when “the board” decided to save money and cancelled security at night. Also, the roof company hired by the association washed off all the dust from the roof on the top of the cars and left multiple cars covered with white dust and didn’t even clean them - how professional of them !!! (no consideration what so ever).
Be aware of the security lady named Silvia. You can never have a calm and quiet entry to the building as this very nosy woman is trying to find out all your personal life, spreads rumors behind your back and discusses your private life with the whole building. While living in the building I was forced to use the back door and lift my shopping cart up the stairs on multiple occasions, only to avoid prolonged contact with this security lady, who socially harassed all residents with her complaints, talks, news and gossips about any and all residents of Lauderdale Tower, including manager. This is simply unacceptable!

Absolutely love living here! We have lived/owned here for over 3 years and couldn’t be happier! The building itself is well maintained with daily cleaning and pool/maintenance/landscaping coming on a regular basis. We hired a new management group and it was the best thing we ever did. They are very responsive and address concerns immediately. Management has stayed on top of things before allowing anything to become an issue. Our property manager sends out weekly updates to owners to keep everyone in the know of what is happening around the building. The board of directors are very transparent and are constantly working to make Lauderdale Tower the best place to live. They leave  a line of communication open so all owners feel heard if anything is on their minds. They truly care about the Lauderdale Tower community. When walking into the building you are greeted by the friendliest security guards! They treat Lauderdale Tower as if it is their home. The location is fantastic! You can’t beat being so close to the beach, shopping and tons of restaurants! Cannot say enough great things about Lauderdale Tower!

This building is a hidden gem.  The new management is making a great difference.  Building went through 40 year maintenance so much if it has been refreshed.  Everyone is nice and inviting.  And sitting by the pool on the weekend Yacht watching is the best.

I have been in L.T since 2008. For many years it was not a nice place.  Fast forward….with the current board and management, I gladly admit,  L.T is a superb place.

I have been living there for 10 years building has been moving on upgrading and now with the new board and management it will be amazing. Hard to find a place like this in Fort Lauderdale on the inter coast and close to the beach 🏝️

Outstanding views and great location! I've been a resident and an owner since 2006. The building is very well maintained, security is super friendly.

These condos are a hidden gem!  The view is incredible and the residents are wonderful!  Great place to live!
