The situation with the gate needs to get ...
The situation with the gate needs to get fix  asap. Not the first time that people have walked to look and to try steal stuff in the balcony. I was literally seating in the living room and looking outside while this individual was walking towards my balcony and suddenly he saw that I had a camera and walked away. I had to put my bicycles inside so they don’t try to steal them. Also, People knocking on doors to talk about services or political.
This supposed to be a private property and we should feel safe. If things happens to our cars, or balconies, I’m sure the complex will not be responsible.
Gate should be closed!

A few issues which could be fixed to better the community including the security gates besides that I'd like to thank the maintenance staff and property agent Esmerisis for good customer service.

This apartment complex charge you for everything but nothing works all these mold with fresh paints over them makes no sense. To renew your lease you better plan  for a $300 dollar raise. All that raise and the gate still ain’t never works. I feel like the tow company is owned by one of brookfield properties family members to scam the tenants. Instead of investing in this stupid tow company it’s better to invest in pest control..

every 5stars is from people who gets to  ...
every 5stars is from people who gets to stay in an AirBnB contract or even worst they might get paid for those five stars and nice comment. said by a current renter in the complex for over 2 yrs.
maintenance service is really fast, they show up as soon as needed, but the works are not the merely needed.
a leaking from sprinkles and another one from kitchen sink since more than 3 months as of today that has not been properly repaired, today I am living with mold in the area around the kitchen, all cabinets are messed up by the mold issue and they said that will be fixed with only painting it over the visual of the mold.
lack of service from ladies in the management office, they've been declining our requests for proper repairing this BIG MOLD ISSUE.
communication and response from their side sa an urgent matter is deplorable.

Terrible place to live!! This place is a ...
Terrible place to live!! This place is a dump and will do anything to rob of our time and money especially with the lot monitoring service. Wide open gates so people are just living out of their cars in our supposed secured gated community. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here. **these people will tow your car away even if you have a parking pass. It’s getting ridiculous, I had use my sisters car for a couple of days and they towed it twice from here even though I have a parking pass on it and now I have to wait until 8 am to be able to pick it up and having to pay $180 each time**

I agree with the below review from Morgan Gardner. I have lived here for over 6 years and it's the worst now. I have had to hire outside company to test mold in my apartment and yes, I'm still having molding problems in all my rooms. I have had my car towed multiple times for backing in despite decal being on front window shield. They have been overcharging me for months now and no one has resolved the issue. I have been very nice about it. I'm too the point where I want to hire a lawyer. I have told them several times about these roaches. My apartment is kept clean at all times. No dishes left behind or food crumbs. Garbage is taken out on a daily and I still wake up with them all over the place. I have made numerous complaints about this and still nothing. I am paying for services that barely works. The keypad on my front door goes out every month. I don't even think the alarm system is working. Brookfield please don't tell me to come and visit the office because I have multiple times and told everytime that it will get fixed. It is not worth it at all.

Went in for a tour and leasing office ag ...
Went in for a tour and leasing office agent didn’t even bother to try to upsell the property much less get out of her seat to give me a proper tour. Terrible customer service! Apartments were not impressive and 3 cop cars were there investigating something in the complex. Definitely would avoid this place

Don't rent here,move away of this place. The management is the worst that I have experienced in US,they don't care about residents, don't supervise maintenance team,you have to beg for they attention on your requests. The apartments are old,appliances are old,the roaches are the best guests of here,all over the place. Common areas are dirty,not updated,no lights at night. Make a favor to yourselves and look for a better place.

I would not recommend Miramar Lakes Apar ...
I would not recommend Miramar Lakes Apartments for anyone. I have lived there for almost 4 years and it was everything but good. Rent went up almost $300 every year. The building I first originally lived in, I was told that I either had to go somewhere else or find another apartment within the complex as they were turning my building into Airbnb units, and only had a few months to decide. In which, not even a year later, they made the Airbnb units back into apartments, which was a complete slap in the face to say the least. Maintenance never fixed anything. They would never listen to my requests. I had a bad dryer that they had to ‘fix’ 5-6 times before they decided it was time for a replacement. Half my stove did not work. Anytime I turned on more than one of the burners that worked, my breaker flipped. The front door battery died less than 24 hours after being replaced, which went on for months. They always said they would talk to the landlord to get the item replaced instead of replacing the battery. News flash, they didn’t. Which comes out of the $80 technology fee that we had, which nothing but the lights, ever worked.
When it was storming hard, I reported a leak in the ceiling as it started to leak and bubble. Maintenance came out and blamed it on the upstairs neighbors and that they’d be back. They never wore. I emailed the front office and they said someone would be out, which never happened.
Let alone, I put it requests for a week to get someone out for the door, ceiling and dryer, as well as emailed again, and the requests were closed out the next day with never being fixed.
The only front person that was ever helpful and actually explained something to you, was  Esmeiris. Everyone else was condescending, and you were never worth their time. Just made you feel like you were wasting your breath and made you feel as if you were stupid, Joanna in particular.
Trash was never picked up on time, or on the designated dates stated. The big trash areas were also overfilled, and trash piled on the sides.
The water in my apartment would turn into sewerage looking. In the shower, toilet, and sinks. It would be that way for the entire day. With no word as to what is going on. It was disgusting.
We had parking stickers we ‘had’ to obtain, parking lot rules we ‘had’ to follow or our car would be towed. Those rules were never enforced.
The corridors were cleaned every 3 months it seemed or every other month, leaving it filthy. Trash was everywhere else in the community and left it completely messy.
The gym was always dirty.
The “secured” gate you are promised for security and a gated community, hasn’t worked in over 2 years. And when it ‘does’ work, the fobs never worked whatsoever. Gate never opened as is.
For “modern” day “luxury” apartments, there aren’t updated appliances. Appliances from when the apartments were built, but definitely never replaced.
If you expect to hear anything back about your deposit, good luck. The office never answers calls or emails.
