Morea Apartments

What started as a promising living situation quickly turned south after the first year. I know that everything is situational and not everyone has the same experiences but my stay at Morea went downhill after the first time the building sold (twice in 4 years). I was willing to overlook certain things like getting trapped in the elevator for 2 hours or only having my key fobs activated for 1 year instead of the 18 month leases I signed and getting home on a weekend after a trip to find out my fob doesn’t work and waiting hours to be let back in (on 2 occasions). Or having neighbors that let their pets go to the bathroom in the elevators or parking garage and just leaving it. Or the people that invite their entire families to take over the pool deck and rec room on weekends when you’re only allowed to have 2 guests at a time. The homeless that camp out at the post office day and night and drunkenly yell into the wee hours. Or even the paid guest parking. The real nightmare began when someone moved in upstairs with an ill-behaved dog. The cheap vinyl flooring has no sound proofing so you can hear a pin drop. The vaulted ceilings amplified the sounds of the dogs nails clicking on the flooring at all hours but especially at night. I’d be woken up from a dead sleep at 4am regularly when the neighbor would get off of her shift and the dog would have the zoomies on and off of the bed and couch. It was the worst when it dropped a heavy bone from the height of the couch or bed, it sounded like I was living beneath a gym. After countless complaints I felt as if my pleading was falling on deaf ears and management was just hoping that I’d get fed up and move out. Silver lining, I have moved out after 4 years. If you decide to make your home at the Morea I just hope you don’t end up in my unit under that terror. Unrelated, during the moving process a very unsettling and threatening letter was taped to the entrance to the complex. It’s very cryptic and bizarre. Management informed me that they were working with local authorities on the matter but never looped in the residents. Just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on moving in anytime soon. Be safe hopefully you have a more enjoyable stint at the Morea than I did.

Bonnie did an outstanding job assisting us with our lease renewal. From the very beginning, she provided clear and detailed information, ensuring we understood every step of the process. Her professionalism and kindness made everything much easier and stress-free. We truly appreciate her patience and willingness to answer all our questions. In this day and age, “everything” is about relations to how ‘we’ treat one another. I chose to live at Morea because of the immediate relationship that was established by the leasing manager at the time—Grace. I have since moved to a bigger unit within the Morea community and found the entire staff to be nothing more than professional. I consider them family. I see them often. I make it a habit to greet them with love.
I have had personal experiences where I needed assistance with a few minor maintenance issues. The three issues were resolved within 30 minutes. I watched as they were being fixed. At the same time, I was being given proactive recommendations to maintain the smart technology with the appliances within my unit.
The community is as only good as the residents who live here. For me, Kevin, Bonnie, Chad , Genc, and the remaining staff are always in my prayers. Genc is the flat-out exceptional...
Nothing in life is perfect. However, my overall experience here at Morea is close to it.

For over four years, my experience at Morea has been nothing short of exceptional. The building is consistently well-maintained. The maintenance team is prompt, efficient, and the leasing office is always a pleasure to work with. Bonnie, Caroline, and Genc have been especially helpful, consistently going above and beyond with their service. Highly recommend!

I have been living at Morea for almost 5 months and I have had the most pleasurable experience. This is my first time renting my own apartment which can be extremely stressful but the leasing office made the process so easy, everyone was so kind each time I called with my millions of questions which truly alleviated a lot of my stress. Within my time of living at Morea I have been able to develop a sense of community with the residents as well as the Leasing office. Caroline is always extremely helpful and offers immediate assistance when needed. She really goes the extra mile to establish comfort for residents, I would not have went to our Morea Christmas Party had I not ran into her in the Parking Garage to remind me of it, and I couldn't have had a better time! I've never heard of an apartment complex offering such a luxe experience where we had delicious food, hors d'oeuvres, drinks & a raffle to celebrate the start of the Holiday season. Chad is always very resourceful and you can see he truly cares for the residential experience where he is always asking what type of events or community engagement activities we would like to see. His professionalism & kindness does not go unnoticed he is always a pleasure to speak with. In terms of Maintenance Genc is extremely helpful. I had an issue with my dryer and he immediately came to assist within minutes of submitting my request. He is always kind and resourceful and really makes me comfortable knowing if I run into any issues I know he will be able to help right away! I could not feel any more lucky to have found the perfect home for myself and my little cat Eevee. I have had the pleasure of meeting countless of wonderful residents as well through Pilates classes which had an amazing instructor Carolina as well! If you're looking for the perfect place to live I would look no further, I highly recommend living at Morea if you're looking for a clean environment with top notch service and a positive sense of community.

My review is solely for the maintenance department specifically Gance. The team he has and the response to a problem has been spot on. To be honest I don't have very many issues but when there is one they come thru and fix it quickly so you are not waiting for something that does not work. The time my toilet was clogged they came within 30 minutes of my request and not just fix it but making sure everything is cleaned up after completion it's been my experience with them everytime. The one that really impressed me the most when I lost my keys on Christmas Day. I picked up the phone called Gance and he had deleted my old fob and I had a new one within 10 minutes of speaking to him on Christmas Day. What I can tell you is that it relieved my stress so I could focus on my kids that special day. Thank you very much and keep up the good work it's very much appreciated.

I wanted to leave a review as we have now lived in this building for 3 years and it has been a really great experience.  The building is very well maintained, the cleaning staff are always working around the clock to keep things clean and tidy for all residents, especially Ernesto who I always see, and Genc who will come very quickly should any small repairs be needed, which have been far and few in between. Always a friendly wave in the garage when we see them.  The property management Kevin is an absolute pleasure to deal with and the new leasing agent Chad is very nice and looking to create a nice community for all to live in. Overall we have been very happy living here at Morea, location is great, close to grocery, restaurants, beach etc.  High ceilings, clean building, common areas, hallways and units that are well maintained, and I've visited many building prior to moving in and this was the best.  Thank you to the entire Morea team for making our home a nice place to live, much appreciated.

I love it here at the Morea. Been here for 3 years now and its the best place Ive ever lived. They take care of problems quickly and the leasing office employees are very approachable.  The maintenance workers are always very prompt as well, especially Getc who has come within minutes for just about every maintenance request I have had. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an excellent experience while living at Morea Apartments. I found a new property that I was hoping would be like my experience at Morea and it is not even close.. At Morea there are people cleaning the property for what seems like 24/7, the maintenance staff was exceptional (and yes, more than one), office staff was more than polite and always helpful. When I move back to South Florida I will absolutely be returning to Morea. Thank you for the great experience there.
