Oakwood Apartments

As a vendor since 2005, nearly 19 years, I can say that Banta Properties abides by high ideals for property management and has been top of my VIP / preferred client list for two decades.  They are very fair and pay promptly with no red tape and show genuine concern for all parties:  their tenants, their staff, vendors like us, and the community.  HATS OFF TO BANTA PROPERTIES!!! Obtained one unit here while my house was been worked on.  Everything went well until I moved out.  I paid the additional fees and waived my security deposit to leave after 6 months.  Never a missed or late payment, yet the management company reported negative remarks to the credit bureau's.  DO NOT TRUST Banta Properties!

I give it a 3 stars for living comfort, and decent area, no one bothers you, and most people are friendly. however if your seeking to find a place on a budget, i do not recommend this option. for me it was walking distance to my job, but unfortunately the starting rent was a bit high, and they increase it by 105 every year that you stay. in a way i think its designed to keep people moving out and have a fresh rotation of renters i guess. and when i speak to other tenants they all seem to have different amounts, some one with the same 2 bedroom as mine is paying 990 while I am paying 1160. I don't know how they determine who pays what. all I know is being in school and on a SET salary, its killer for me no to mention that I have to pay WATER & TRASH separate as it is.  so please consider your budget and convenience to your job before taking this place.
