Just moved in. Got a package stolen..bee ...
Just moved in. Got a package stolen..been only here for a couple of weeks. They just admitted that the security cameras in the package room and in most part of the building ARE NOT WORKING…and that there’s nothing they can do about it. Soooo.. what would YOU do about it?

Pearl Dadeland is a very nice place to live, where the price truly matches the quality, something rare to find these days. The building itself is beautiful, with great attention to detail and design. The amenities are exceptional, featuring a full size, well equipped gym and a gorgeous, spacious pool area complete with grills. I've never had any issues using these facilities. The apartment finishes and designs are equally impressive. From the thoughtfully selected color palette to the stylish kitchen backsplash, large windows, and even the finer details like ledges,, For the price, the quality is really good Also, the residents portal makes life even easier. Super user friendly and efficient for placing work or maintenance orders, and the staff is quick to respond and resolve any issues. On top of all that, the location is great in tranquil Downtown Dadeland with easy access to everything you need and the mall.
I highly recommend Pearl Dadeland for anyone seeking a combination of quality, convenience, and style in a peaceful yet central location.

I’ve been living here for 5 months and l ...
I’ve been living here for 5 months and let me tell you, what a disappointment! This building, and its employees are pathetic, from faulty building mechanics (the garage door constantly being faulty which news flash, is a huge safety concern) to a disgusting property (dog poop EVERYWHERE, disgusting elevators, glass, garbage and food on the floors of the residence hallways, dog pee next to elevators throughout the building and RATS! RATS, my dog almost picked up a dead rat next to the entrance of the building and i’ve seen maybe a ton of them running around. Another major problem is the people living here and again since the staff is so pathetic, there is no solution to any problems. I just ordered a package valued over $80 just for it to get here and be stolen in a matter of 40 minutes, I kid you not, 40 minutes. After trying to reach out to staff, nobody helped me, and once I called the police to review the camera footage of the package room, the manager was in a “meeting” therefore being the only person that could access the cameras, we were unable to see the footage let alone even speak to her. This building is truly disappointing considering I’m paying over $2,400 for a one bedroom one bathroom. I get the economy is an issue within itself, but at the bare minimum, clean up your building, do better.

I am extremely disappointed with the way ...
I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by Raúl, part of the building’s management team. I went to the office seeking assistance with an issue I was having with the payment app, but instead of helping, Raúl treated me with a terrible attitude. He was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional.Not only did he refuse to let me explain my issue, but he also spoke to me in a condescending and disrespectful manner, making it clear he had no interest in resolving the problem. His behavior was entirely unacceptable for someone in a management position, where providing assistance and respect to tenants should be a priority. If this is the level of service tenants can expect, it’s no wonder people are unhappy. Raúl needs serious training in customer service or perhaps a new role altogether if this is how he treats residents.

I have lived several apartments and this ...
I have lived several apartments and this is the worst one. But to be fair, I will list all pros before I go into how awful this experience has been for me. Pros:
1. Great amenities (pool, gym, and study areas)
2. Maintence is super nice and helpful
3. Nice renovated apartments
4. Great location (across the street from downtown Dadeland and Dadeland mall)
5. Raul and Maria are the only people you should go to. Everyone else couldn’t be bothered to help. Both managers are non responsive and could care less about the tenants. Raul should be manager- that would be the only way I renew my lease again.
However, there are a ton of apartments that offer the same things without the hassle I’ve experienced here.
Cons:
1. Terrible mail delivery system. They are very deceitful and tell u that if you pay for mail box they will put your packages there. But in reality, all packages go on the ground in a room open to anyone. 8 of my packages have been stolen and when I asked them to check the cameras they say they don’t see anything? You have to dig through piles and piles of other people’s packages. It’s awful and so inconvenient.
2. Crazy fees for parking. No matter how many bedrooms or people you have on your lease, u have to pay $50 for the first car and double that for every car you add. On top of that they stopped allowing visitor parking. Now they have to pay the metr parking (that they also increased) which can amount to over $100 for one weekend.
3. All around deceitful practices. When I moved in they said there would be free printing then they took the printer away. Simultaneously, they added a $50 random fee to my rent and when I asked about the cost they said they did not give a real answer. Said something about it being for them to grab our paper off the printer????  They also increased my rent by over $150 when I renewed. Not sure if that’s deceitful or not but it wasn’t appreciated.
4. Poor security all around. There have been several incidents I’ve had to report (stolen packages, dog attack) and they said there were no cameras that can see anything. The doors to the garage are all broken and unlocked. The garage is frequently broken. Luckily we live in a safe area but for the price they charge, it is crazy that there are so few safeguards.
5. Speaking of dog attacks, my dog was attacked by another dog in the apartment which required surgery. The apartment told me the dog would be removed. The dog was never removed. When I asked about it, they said someone forgot to leave paperwork about the removal so there was nothing else they could do about that. Since then, other residents have had complaints about that same dog. Not request for there to be a muzzle on it or anything.
6. Management does not answer emails or phone calls so don’t even waste your time. The people in the front desk are pretty cool and sympathetic but they can’t control the bad stuff we go through for the most part.
8. Super tight Parking and very few spots.
7. Terrible mold problems (complaints from several residents as well)
All in all, I would go somewhere else. I have friends that live in the same area like The Palmer with nicer facilities, cheaper rent, and less problems. At the very least this apartment could change the way our packages are dispersed but they don’t care. They built some shelves which is such a joke. I can’t wait to move out.

I have been a resident of Pearl Dadeland ...
I have been a resident of Pearl Dadeland for over five years. I want to recognize the maintenance team. They are professional, and quick to respond to maintenance requests. I had an issue with my washing machine, clothes where stuck inside. After they repaired the door they placed my clothes in the dryer, now that's quality service. Thank you!!!!!
