The Palmer Dadeland Apartments

Just moved out of this place after a year and while the building appears new and nice, this place is infested with roaches. They fail to mention that before you sign a lease and move in but I guess that’s how the Palmer dadeland does business. I’m a student from the university of miami with no reason to shade a local apartment building but I was done beyond dirty by this administration. The leasing office manager told me I HAD to move out prior to my designated move out date and neglected to tell me I was rent responsible for the following month despite moving out and a new tenant moving in the next day. Having two different tenants pay rent for the same month was the last straw for me. I would have stayed another month if I had to pay for it but of course they neglected to tell me i could and essentially lied and forced a move out to get two different tenants to pay for the same apartment for the same month. If the roaches and lack of professionalism isn’t enough. Don’t misplace your parking pass because they will tow your car without verifying that the car in question is property of a respectable paying tenant. (Hint maybe run the plate and verify that the car is someone who lives here) This apartment being my second home, I didn’t know that my car was in the impound for 10 days 700$ to get the car out. Thanks Palmer dadeland! All in all, I would NEVERRRRRRRRRRRR RECCOMEND ANYONE TO LIVE HERE. Your food will be infested with roaches, the management does not value its tenants and they will lie about your move out options to get your money when your not even living there anymore. I always take everything with a grain of salt but I speak the honest truth about my experience and would truly like to prevent future tenants from dealing with the ignorance, disrespect, lack of cleanliness and conniving service that I dealt with. Plenty apartment buildings in Miami, AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTSSS!

I have lived at this fantastic establishment for well over 3 years. The community is fantastic and so is the leasing team. The community offers fantastic amenities. In addition, it is walking distance to the metro-rail. Thank you to Natalie, Chet, Andrea, George, and Alexya. Cheers!

I recently wrote a review that wasn't my true emotions, my current issue has been settled. My previous review was one I made while in a bad place after a personal incident, this place is amazing and truly beautiful all around. I love living here, the leasing office is always around to help at a moments notice, they care about their residents deeply, and want to make the community a happy place to be in. I am extremely grateful for the employees here for responding so quickly and caring for each and every resident. the community events are WONDERFUL. and the drinks are great too lol. love the food trucks and all the residents that live here

The parking garage is tiny, very tiny. They give residents a parking pass to put in their windshield. If this falls off they tow you at your expense. Even if it is clearly visible. This is a poor policy and leaves a horrible taste in your mouth. It isn’t like their aren’t plenty of spots for cars either. No warning nothing. Just wake up to a missing car. Can you imagine getting fired from your job because where you live towed your REGISTERED CAR with a parking pass  inside. When talking to management they couldn’t produce any evidence as to why the car way towed.
When you ask the office they refuse to assist in getting your car back in any way. I urge you to reconsider living here if you drive.

This place has slowly gone downhill. There is always dog poop everywhere. Elevators, garage, stairwell, hallways. Do people not have common sense to pick up after their dogs? I shouldn’t have to watch where I step to go into the elevators because there is a literal puddle of pee. It’s embarrassing to have guests over and have to experience this. The elevators almost never work. Several times I have had to wait 20+ min to get on the elevator. There is always some sort of construction going on. EVERY single day there are people drilling.Good luck trying to take a nap or just want some peace and quiet.

As a resident in the Palmer, I have had nothing but a great experience of living here until earlier this year. Now, there are a TON of airbnb visitors coming in and out like a revolving door. The visitors are loud, disruptive, and have no lack of empathy blasting music during late hours of the night at the pool… This makes sense, as instead of the Palmer being a community of people who live in the building day to day and actually care about the place, it now contains people who do not care as they will only be here for a short amount of time. Do they get the same screenings as we did when applying to live here? This feels unsafe.
I’ve noticed rental cars in the garage being careless, speeding and leaving dents on other cars due to lack of parking skills. Not a great look in my opinion. Didn’t imagine the place I chose to live would now be treated like a crazy airbnb. If that’s the case, to make things better let’s look into hotel like amenities such as room service or room cleaning if you want to treat it as such. Palmer management… this was a mistake. I’ve talked to other residents who feel the same.

Ricardo, the concierge, is very helpful and made us feel at home while we waited for the appartement. Since we arrived very early in the morning it had yet to be cleaned.

Absolutely love living here!! The staff are so friendly and attentive to our every need. Our apartments is beautiful with spectacular views of downtown Miami skyline. So happy to call this place our home.
