The Residences on Hollywood Beach

Love my residences!!!!

Management gets zero stars from me. The building(s) use a fingerprint for access to the buildings and the amenities including getting to and from the beach. Today I met 3 residents and ‘guests’ of residences that were given swipe cards to access these areas, even though I was told by management they don’t give people swipe cards anymore. I offered to pay for it- brought my checkbook and everything, met with Fannie (the head manager of the buildings). I explained to her that I have a medical condition and that I need to shower immediately after getting out of the ocean. She did not care. I told her without a swipe card I am unable to use the beach here as I will break out in a rash from the salt water. She did not care. I explained to her that was the only reason we moved to this development was beach access. She did not care. I pleaded with her and told her how I now have to drive to another beach now even though we pay a lot of money to live here. She did not care. I give Fannie, and this building zero stars. We are moving when our lease is up. Unfortunately we just moved in 2 months ago. Fair warning to all considering living here. Fannie should not be in any line of work where she interacts with people.

Nice apartments and beautiful grounds

A REAL PRISON! Exactly a week after moving into this house, we began counting the minutes until the lease ended. This year has been full of stress, prohibitions and fines. Even those who have never lived there know the management of this house. This house is famous for its terrible staff and crazy rules. Don't go there, don't do it, dogs are treated like pests, the attitude is terrible! at the end of the year they paid almost $1000 in fines!! Parking is a completely different story, they charge money for everything! If you want to use a freight elevator, give a deposit of $1000 and no one cares whether you have them or not, which means no elevator for you! And if you use the freight elevator, they then run to check if you scratched the walls in the elevator. In a word, Gestapo! I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Retiring to a most beautiful place on Hollywood Beach is a dream that come true! Having a waterfront property with stunning views and a friendly community is a perfect setting for our new home. Me and my wife enjoy the serene atmosphere with professional staff that make our retirement even more enjoyable.
