The Shores At Keys Gate

Today was the third time a loose dog has come up to me while I was walking my baby in his stroller . A big husky that looked like a wolf ran across the street and started following us. I turned back to go home and it kept circling us . It was terrifying and I’m afraid to even go walking in this community anymore.

AVOID THIS HOA COMMUNITY!!! My first HOA experience and my last. Ride around security and HOA management inspectors are a joke (they only see what they want) - gate security people are decent if you treat them with respect... certain neighbors are targeted for violations, constantly, while others can blatantly do whatever they want with no repercussions. The management company is only out for money. You will be lucky if they acknowledge any communications you send them. Cable and internet are included in HOA fee, and recently we were forced to change to a subpar plan and company, with no say in the matter, and no regular and constant representative to work out the kinks.
Forget about a safe, secure place. A year ago they installed a gate code box at the second entrance, which use to be for "residents only." Now, so many people gave codes to get into our community because many residence give it out to anyone - like delivery people.
Please avoid this community - don't pay them for subpar service. Wish we had rented before purchasing, first - we would have stayed away. Also, compare it to other KEYS GATE community properties - they all offer different amenities for your HOA fee...something we weren't told about before purchasing and relocating from out of state.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE AN H.O.A. PROPERTY - thanks to continual, unpleasant experiences this one delivers to its residence.
