The Waverly at Las Olas

I love the gym and the home is beautiful. But the security in the garage is not the best. A couple months back a drunk driver or someone trying to break in broke the opening gate that opens with a fob. On May 29th, 2023 my boyfriends motorcycle was stolen. At 10:03 pm a white van entered the entrance gate. I’m not sure if that’s an employee van or what. But the front desk was notified as a high risk security. The van was parked near our motorcycle at 10:05pm and it got stolen. The van couldn’t get out of the gate and waited to tailgate another vehicle to get out. We were not notified that someone had stolen our motorcycle until the morning. It’s really unfortunate that there are many people tailgating and getting in the garage. We have had the motorcycle for only 3 weeks. We thought we moved into a high security gated community. But it’s really unfortunate that we have to deal with this. I hope no one else had to deal with something being stolen in the garage before. If we would’ve been warned that anyone can get in the garage we would’ve put more security measures on our part to make sure our motorcycle was never stolen. Property is Good but Building management company is one of the worst in the world (Castle Group),  very badly suited  specially Diane Wilmot.. something that you might  think about if your considerer to move to that Condo, there are very better nicest building around with gentle people.

I've been living in the building for 3 years. Over the past two weeks, the air conditioning has "gone out" three times for extended periods of time.  It's not working as I write this review. Additionally, the building has had issues with false fire alarms. Those happen quite frequently as well. Going off all hours of the day and night. -----I'm revising my review a bit here as it may be a bit unfair...to be clear..the AC has gone out 3 times in two weeks...however, there were problems with the chiller towers due to power surges. In each instance, the building management has been responsive and worked very hard to get things back online in a timely manner.  With respect to the false fire alarms..there haven't been any recently and, once again, the building management was very proactive in addressing the issues. With all that said..the staff here is very good, respectful, attentive and friendly.
