Avana Bayview Apartments

been living here for 2 years and its nice..staff is friendly and whenever i have any issues inside the apartment they come and fix it right away..stephanie is amazing she always answers the questions right away and she helps right away..

The building is adequate, staff and maintenance are fabulous. Could use better cleaning on their carpets in the hallways. It’s very safe and secure as is the parking garage.

I lived there 4 years. Carlos in maintenance is great, a very nice guy and a true professional. I have 2 small dogs that I didn't once take into the dog park bc it was disgusting for the  4 years I lived there. I put a few requests in for management to fix it. Maybe it's updated now, but a little late for me. Amazon is popular, yet in the 4 years I was there they didn't expand their lockers, so many packages were left outside of lockers on the ground in the garage. There were VERY aggressive large dogs that I complained about and my complaints were ignored. Aggressive large dogs would lunge at my dogs. This place did not comply with Florida's statute that in order for a dog to be a certified "service animal", a vet or mental health professional must sign the certificate AND the dog must not be aggressive or pose a threat. It's easy to buy a fake "service animal" certificate online.  I was in fear often in the elevator with my dogs, afraid the doors would open and the aggressive dog in my building would lunge and latch onto one of my small dogs. This was ultimately why I left.
The carpets in the halls were stained and the AC was FREQUENTLY not working in the halls during the hot summer months.
The garage door would be broken for long periods of time which led to attempted robberies of motorcycles and personal items from people's cars. I was a good tenant for the 4 years I was there. I was disappointed after all this to then get a bill at the end of my lease for a few hundred dollars for utilities that were not billed at the beginning of my lease. Sure it was in their contract, but in my opinion they could have waived it.  It just added insult to injury.

The call box says enter any part of the apartment number. I’ve done that 1 million times and it shows absolutely nothing. Nothing nothing nothing what a useless call box.

I've love the Maintenance here at my residence.. Kevin the Supervisor is amazing and Carlos is awesome.. my dishwasher went out and before that my Air-conditioner.....these guys kept me posted the whole time about progress and timing.... love these guys as well as Stephanie and Michael in the leasing office!

While visiting my cousin at Avana Bayview, we encountered some difficulties with the grills and hot tub. Fortunately, Kevin noticed our struggle and went out of his way to assist us, taking the time to explain how everything works. His helpfulness and initiative were greatly appreciated!

My husband and I have been living Avana Bayview Apts. for a few months and the maintenance service has been consistently excellent. Kevin Cedeno and the maintenance team are always prompt in responding to requests and handle issues professionally and efficiently. Recently, we had an issue with the electrical box. We submitted a request and Kevin made sure to discover the source of the problem and solved it. Thanks again Kevin, we truly appreciate your help!

Lived here for over 3 years. Staff have always been extremely helpful & friendly. Maintenance (Carlos) takes care of everything right away. A good mix of younger and older tenants. Plus, the bedrooms and closets are huge compared to the newer apartment complexes that are being built nowadays.
