Incredibly old building, with an incredibly cheap management company. I could go on about how terrible this property is, but instead, here’s the cliff notes version. My unit had mold (some of it being black mold) throughout, multiple ceiling leaks that went unaddressed for weeks at a time, no AC all summer, then the elevator was broken for 3 months….. it was absurd.
The only thing I see being done is paint. So many coats of paint, all over everything.
I moved out about a month ago and my quality of life has improved immensely. Please don’t let the entry level pricing, and the dream of living on the beach blind side you….. it’s NOT worth it.

The Birch Tower has been my home for 4 years. Every year the building and neighborhood gets better and better. The staff and other tenants are friendly and welcoming. I strongly recommend anybody looking for a dream apartment by the beach to consider living here.

Will the elevator or AC ever work

I have lived in the Birch Tower for years.  Security is top notch, especially at night.  Gym facilities a little outdated but effective.  Clubhouse contains pool table, flatscreen tv, a bar and lounge furniture.  Olympic sized heated pool contain two gas butane gas grills.  Miss Evelyn and Steve make up the management office and are easy to communicate with.  One block from A1A, close to the Ritz Beach Place and galleria mall.

Was. Picking up a friend who resides in building. Was told to wait in guest parking. As soon as I park I'm approached by security who asks why I'm there. I told him name if my friend. He then instantly says I'm lying and I need to leave or he is calling cops. I ask 6 times for his name and who he works for. He States he works for God and I don't need his F'ing name. Finally I tell him to call the cops, he says his name is Stephen and the punches my car as I go to pull away. Stay away from this building and joke of security
