Club Mira Lago Apartments

Awesome place & great staff ! Update! It’s been 9 years at this community now & I still love my apartment & the amenities, the maintenance staff it’s like seen family by now , Leo & Hamilton have been here since I moved in 9 years ago , they go above & beyond to help out , accommodate & solve maintenance issues as soon as possible. Office staff it’s always a pleasure to stop by & say hello to them. My move in 9 years ago was so smooth & hassle free , after 3 years David the same manager presented me the opportunity to move in to the unit next to mine because it was been totally upgraded & I took it since it was about the time to renew my lease.! Well 9 years later I’m looking to other places closer to my new job & it’s been hard to make that decision still don’t know if I’m going to let go my little paradise or renew my lease & continue the stressful long ride to work.
Definitely going to miss the beautiful sunsets over the lake , the walks along the lake side to the entertainment Island we got here , the wild life , the friendly treatment from office & maintenance staff ,etc ,etc , etc . There are not 2 places alike but currently looking into a sister property of Olen living with amazingly friendly & welcoming office staff as well .

My whole experience with this company was terrible to begin with. I was lied to and deceived. when I went to review the apartment, the three bedroom was nice, but when I got to the location where the two bedroom was, there was a bunch of bugs all over the outside area. at that point I figured the three bedroom would be better because it just looked a lot cleaner and was in a better location. I was told the process would take me two days to get an approval when I asked. I had like a week and a half before I had to move out of my other place. I called like five days later and they gave me an excuse, saying that I didn't get the approval back yet, because they couldn't find my Social Security number. I was then reach out to their third-party place that they're using to decide if I'm approved. As I called them and asked them about them not being able to find my Social Security number they told me that that was a lie. They would not have told them that and they would have reached out to me first. at that point, I received some thing to send over documentation, which means that the company decides to call them after I told them that they said that they were lying about not getting my Social Security number. Their system that they use is very biased, because I am self-employed and I have multiple strains of income. If it wasn't what they wanted in the form that they wanted it then they weren't accepting it. I'm going to guess that's why I got denied. they literally waited until the last day that I told him was my move out to deny me and then they took $495 before they even did the approval. I know the application fee was not refundable but when I called to get my administrative fee back, which should have been refundable, if I was not approved. They were telling me that they didn't think I got it back. Then the man in the front said he would call the manager to confirm that I can get my deposit back and then I never heard back from them again. This is probably one of the most unprofessional companies that I've ever dealt with. I really dodged a bullet and I would not recommend anyone to ever go to them to rent a place. I feel like I was scammed and I just feel like they are a terrible community.

In my honest opinion, Mira Lago, is absolutely horrible. It is overpriced, has no security, and I would recommend anyone thinking of moving in to read their lease THOROUGHLY.

My honest review. Nice apartment complex. Melissa (Office Manager) was awesome with the initial move in. Very pleasant, and friendly. Hey 👋🏽 Melissa!! Only criticisms. Parking is annoying. Assigned parking would have been the common sense thing for tenants who pay rent. Anyone from off the street can park where I pay my rent, and I’m left without a spot close enough to my apartment in the evening when I get in from work. Also, please tell tenants to clean up after their dogs. No one is trying to step in feces while walking around the complex. Other than that, no complaints.

PERFECT LOCATION!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. MELISSA WAS MY LEASING CONSULTANT AND SHE TOOK CARE OF US FROM THE START!!! SHE WAS AWESOME!!! MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR HER. MAINTENANCE IS ON POINT. SHAKEVIN IS THE BEST!!! HE TAKES HIS JOB VERY SERIOUS AND HE WILL MAKE SURE YOUR WORK ORDERS ARE COMPLETED!!! I’M BIG ON WORKER ORDERS. I WAS A LEASING MANAGER IN ATLANTA. SO I’M GOING TO BE HONEST!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT STYLE COMMUNITY.

I recently moved into Club Mira Lago and Melissa was extremely helpful with the move.  She made me feel welcome from day one and has always been kind and patient.  I would give her 10 stars if I could.  The area is great as you are not far from the Sawgrass Expressway, it's safe, and shopping is easy as everything you need is at the tip of your fingers.  My favorite thing about my apartment is the beautiful lake view from my patio.  What could be better is the parking situation as parking is difficult as the spots are tight and people sometimes double park and if you get home too late, you will most probably have to park far away from your building.  I don't think some cars have moved once since I moved in.  I was warned about this before moving in but it is still annoying that I have to park far away from my building the majority of the time.  I would like to be able to park in front of the building in which my rent is going towards.  In addition, a lot of kids live in the complex and it can be loud sometimes as a lot of them hang out by the lake.  I don't really feel like hearing screaming when I am trying to relax.  Overall, I am happy with my choice in moving into Club Mira Lago and would recommend this place to others.

I love my new apartment home.  The staff are very welcoming.  Specifically, I worked with Melissa and she is such a joy.  The community is peaceful and the small gated, private park and lake is unbelievable!

I have enjoyed living at Club Mira Lago for a few years, and recently had an emergency. I was reminded how helpful the people who work there are. Of special mention would be Melissa in the office and Leo in maintenance. Both are so easy to work with and do help solve any issues that arise. I continue to enjoy living here.

Beware of this complex. They will be nice to get you in the door but once contract signed they are unbelievable. They have all kind of hidden fees. Parking is horrible. No security anyone can walk in and out of complex.  If you want access to the pool or gym you have no choice but to pay $50 for a key which is something I've never seen before. The are solely about money and no community activities. The prices was raised to match cost of living but you are definitely not getting for what it cost to live here.

Please do yourself a favor and find yourself somewhere you can call home because Club Mira Lago is not the place. They will literally charge you to walk in the office if they could. They charge to even use the pool. They recently put a lock on the pool and I can only access if I pay $50 fee for a key. First year rent went up $500 with no change or community involvement events.
Their are mold issues here,  so please have that looked into prior to signing any contract (building 950 to be specific). You pay trash service fee but sometime their's no trash bin there.  There is literally one for the whole complex that on several occasions has gotten overpacked and neighbors just throwing their trash bags on the ground to pile up.
I literally came home one day to a new dryer that was supposed to go into someone else's apt. No accountability was taken for that mix up but not shocked because I had issues first month due to rent payment saying it was received via mail but wasn't and I was charged $150 fee for an employee miscommunication. As for parking good luck with that.
I highly recommend you find somewhere you can call home but if you perfer somewhere you just pay a lot to just sleep than you've found the right place.
