Colonial Village Apartments

Colonial Village has the potential to be a great place to live. The residents are amazing, the quiet atmosphere is incredible, and overall the affordability of the apartment makes it a great place for someone to stay. With that being said, I would not recommend anyone move into these apartments. Since changing management to Cruise Property, there has been a disconnect between the residents and the owners of the property. They converted the leasing office into an apartment, therefore there is no direct connection on site for residents to talk and voice their concerns. It is difficult to get into contact with anyone to address your issues because everything is now through the phone or virtual. Consistently, water is being shut on and off for maintenance. There are bug problems in some apartments, specifically roaches. Some apartments smell like smoke, due to the smoke residue that comes from other apartments through the vents. The laundry facility is subpar, as the washers and dryers are consistently broken and not operating correctly. And although typically diligent in their work, the maintenance crew has on some occasions left behind a mess after completing their work.
As I mentioned, Colonial Village has the potential to be an amazing place to live. And it has the potential to rival some of the other apartment complexes in the area. However, Colonial Village will not reach its full potential until management takes it upon themselves to change their approach in running the apartment complex. I appreciated my time at Colonial Village, however I would not recommend anyone live here until management begins make changes.

Do not move there! Cruise Mngt. is a dishonest company! They cheated me out of 5 months of lease, claiming they had no records of any tenets leases from the prior owners. CHEATED me with higher rent I was forced to pay- $1250 in all extra. The office people are incompetent, when you actually reach someone. Communicating with them is like trying to talk to smoke, they are just not there to help their customers. They only offer 7 month leases as their longest lease, so they can raise tenets rents almost twice a year. I moved out months ago, and I feel like I escaped from the clutches of this bizarre, incompetent company.

I have no words....

I do not recommend you move here. The parking lot has trash, dumpster always overfilling, people in the pool that do not live here, new landscapers have ruined the property, there are roaches now and the water gets shut off constantly for most of the morning and afternoon for repairs. the new management company that purchased is cruise property and they have a terrible reputation, been sued plenty of times.It is my opinion after researchig that Cruise property management is a DBA of CSB6 LLC which also owns Soflo Property management LLC . based upon previous reviews and BBBreports, once a property has been acquired and squeezed, its transferred over to soflo prop management to remove the liability. do your research before you become a victim.

Max properties sold their property to another company at the last minute without no knowledge. They took my rent money and did not pass it to the new company making me pay double again for rent. I have tried several time to reach out and no one calls me back m. Thinking about going to court because I have proof payment was cash. No one cares, the new owner says not my problem, maxxproperties returns none of my calls.  I can not wait until lease is up. Neither company will never have to worry about me. Horrible!!!!

Nice quiet place to live. Upgrades give a brand new look to the place.

My husband and I viewed this complex and told him I love it. The application process was easy and quick thanks to Erika who stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process. She was amazing. They accepted both my dogs without a problem which had been an issue with other properties. They make sure to send messages to let you know when work and renovations will be happening. The property is kept up nicely, the parking lot is brightly lit. They have painted and redone the parking lot, all in all this is a good place to live. Very quiet and the neighbors are nice. Maintenance is friendly and will get things done quickly.  Not a bad pace for the price. Very spacious and relaxing.

Air conditioning unit had water pouring from it down my walls. If I weren’t home would’ve definitely flooded my unit and others below me. A/c is completely broken after months of not blowing cool air in and off.  It has been 2 days and this still hasn’t been fixed even after submitting 4 requests online. Seems like they don’t mind a major flood in the apartment units. The voicemail box for maintenance is full and can’t accept messages. You can’t  reach anyone in the office at anytime. Stay away. Not only that but the Elevator has been broken for over 2 months now
