I lived here for a little over 2 years and left when the new management took over. When the building was bought by the current owner, he decided to renovate the building. As a single woman living here, this situation was a living hell. There were too many terrible experiences to list here but some of the highlights include the following: There were times I woke up to a bunch of people inside of my apartment, people who were working on renovating the building who I did not give permission to enter my apartment at the time. Once I came home, presumably sooner than the property manager, Gino, had expected me to, to find all of my windows and doors on my apartment missing. People entered my apartment without notice or permission more times than I can count. I eventually moved into a different unit within the complex. Gino had told me the rate I would be paying for the new unit before I moved in. Then once I had moved in, added around $300 more per month to the rent. There was nothing I could do since the original rate he had given me was not in writing so I had no evidence of the original rate that was promised. I had to move again within the span of just a few months. After I had left, I accidentally had a package delivered to my previous address in this complex and was contacted by the person who was currently living in my old unit. When I went to pick it up, the man asked me what my experience had been like living there. I didn't go into detail but I just said it wasn't good. This man said that he didn't get the impression that Gino, the apartment manager, has very much respect for women. It had never occured to me that the reason I was being treated so poorly was because I was a woman. But it makes sense because the male tenants of the building never had to deal with the issues I did. If you are a single woman, I would stay away from this apartment complex. After my experience I feel very strongly that these people with try to take advantage of you.
