Cortland Midtown Miami

Very clean and nice apartment complex. 24hr front desk with great view of the water. Our agent is Joey (Milton), who is very kind and helped us tour the apartments. He was very fast in responding to our questions and concerns. Highly recommend considering this apartment for those looking for housing in midtown Miami.

I can't believe how awful my experience was at this rental community. The management is beyond incompetent, making it feel like a nightmare to live here. Safety? Forget about it. Police are practically regulars, arresting someone almost daily. Drama is the main attraction, and good sleep? Might as well forget what that feels like. Don't trust the Google reviews—they're as fake as they come. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else to live.

Living at Cortland Midtown can be frustrating.  The management team ignores ongoing issues all the time.  The amenities are usually dirty, unkempt or falling apart.  Pool furniture is broken and disgusting.  The pool is and surrounding area is never clean.  Broken doors leading from garage to main building.  The parking deck has never been cleaned.  Car break-ins are not uncommon.  The front desk goes MIA from 12-4am.    You will pay a lot in rent with increases every year for very little in return.   Be prepared to hear everything from your hallway because the builder used the cheapest materials including hollow doors.  The majority of the 5 star reviews on here are usually fake or written by realtors as favors.  If management reads this please spare me the automated generic response and just do something about the ongoing issues.

The pool and BBQ areas are disgusting, deteriorated and dirty. The rent is expensive and does not do justice. It is promoted as a luxury building and it is far from being the case. The pool area is completely in unsanitary conditions and management don’t care. They remodeled a room and it can only be used by paying and leaving a deposit.

I was visiting Miami last week and my leasing agent Milton gave us a great tour of the complex! Very knowledgeable and energetic about his job! Thanks!

I moved in January 2020 and within a few weeks things were broken and loose around the unit, the kitchen appliances rusted and the fridge was freezing all my food. I called the concierge and they sent a maintenance person to the Unit, he changed the settings And said it was because the freezer setting was too cold, he unplugged the unit and changed the settings. A few days later, nothing has changed, all my food is still frozen, he passed by again and changed the setting and says it’s because it is too low, next day I wake up and the food is still frozen and I call multiple times, email management and go downstairs, their response. We don’t know what is happening and there is a “procedure” that needs to be followed. It’s been a week and I’ve had a broken fridge since. Please think about moving here, the management is absolutely horrible, Cheri never responds to my emails, the walls are paper thin and I can hear everything from my neighbors, the garage is always dirty and there is dog poop everywhere. UPDATE MAY 15 2023-
I moved here January 2020 and it has been almost three years. The building was purchased by another company and they are completely different, all of a sudden better people have moved in and I have great neighbors. We all know each other now and the building is cleaner, there are dog treats at the concierge which everyone loves and Mauricio is nothing but amazing, responsive and on top of everything, the garage still doesn’t have cameras and that is my only issue as some of us have had to deal with weird garage situations.
Moved out February 2024- I moved out because again the building was purchased by a new company and boy they are awful. The management team is terrible and not safe. I wouldn’t recommend this building unfortunately

I've lived here for over a year and I am very pleased overall. Location is absolutely perfect and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It has been a great experience living here and I would definitely recommend!
