A wonderful place to live! Lovely apartments in a fantastic location with a responsive and attentive team managing the property. This is my third apartment in Miami and has been BY FAR my best experience.

Best place to live in Miami Beach! No complaints

I strongly urge anyone considering renting from Depot 16 to think twice before signing a lease. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare due to the property’s toxic mold issues and the gross negligence of the management team. Shortly after moving in, I noticed visible mold spores on the ceilings, extensive water damage, and dangerously high humidity levels. Despite bringing these serious health concerns to management’s attention, their only response was to paint over the mold, ignoring the root causes of the problem. This allowed the mold to continue spreading, severely impacting my health.
After hiring a professional to test the unit, results showed highly elevated mold levels in the air, A/C unit, and inner walls. I later found out that the apartment had suffered severe flooding and a collapsed ceiling just four months before I moved in—information that was never disclosed to me. The repairs were clearly superficial, as the ceiling is still splitting, the floors are warped from water damage, and there’s mold growing inside the walls.
To make matters worse, Depot 16’s management has shown a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. They entered my unit without proper notice, tampered with maintenance records, and deleted rent payment history from my tenant portal. They even tried to pressure me into signing documents that would waive my legal rights, which is completely unacceptable.
They are well aware of the severe mold problem in their buildings.
These people are crooks and money-hungry, prioritizing profits over tenants’ health and safety.
This ordeal has taken a devastating toll on my physical and mental health, destroyed my personal belongings, and forced me to relocate unexpectedly.
If you value your health, safety, and peace of mind—DO NOT RENT FROM DEPOT 16. Their negligence is dangerous, and no one deserves to go through what I experienced.

I recommend that you do not apply with these people, there are many more serious ones on the market and they do not waste your time to keep the money for the application and after making thousands of excuses tell you no. Scammers is what they are

Don't waste your time with these people.

They are scammers, they made us pay 250 dollars for the application and they didn't show us the apartment, I called them and they didn't answer the phone, I could only communicate with them by email and they only give one answer per day, they told us that they were going to give us an answer every day after insisting and they didn't give it, they only asked for things and when I sent them to them they didn't answer. They only waste people's time.

These people are scammers. They increased our rent 6 months into our lease by 300+ then increased our rent at the end of our lease by $500+. They promised us one unit with bigger dimensions when we signed the contract and when we arrived we received a much smaller unit with smaller dimensions a completely different apartment after we had already bought furniture for the bigger apartment meaning we were crammed into the space they gave us. There are 0 amenities and they increase your rent with 0 improvement to the building or common areas. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything your neighbors do and say including their tv and phone conversations. This company owns several similar apartment buildings in Miami Beach and they all have problems. Our washer dryer was in a constant state of disrepair as well as our AC.
