Golfview Flats

we have lived here for almost 2 years now. Since the moment we moved in, there has been signage that state that there’s going to be renovation, but we have yet to see any major changes besides fixing the pool (Which I would never trust the swim in) This place have mold, which isn't safe especially when there's kids in residency.
The outside area is always dirty and STINK (I’m not only blaming the maintenance worker because some of these  neighbors are nasty also smh) But I’m saying as soon as they see something that makes the place look less appealing they need to get on it and clean it right away!! They need to have a nice upkeep of this place.
They need to hire a cleaning crew at least two days a week to take care of the mess, Stairway is always dirty, theres food everywhere and trash in the corners. Peoples dog pee and poop, The elevator stinks sometimes when the dogs pee in it or people drop food and don’t pick it up .This place is not worth over $2000. The only thing that is decent about it is the room size. They need to do better with the upkeep of this place because it has potential.

I have been a long-term resident of Golfview Flats and during my time I have seen management come and go several times. I would say Snow Realty is the third or so during my time and out of all of them they have been the best, improving the residency here both effectively and on a structural level. This review from me has been overdue for a while and there is a particular reason why. Late one night (around midnight) the neighboring unit just above mine was leaking water down through my ceiling and the walls to the side, essentially threatening to flood my unit. The usual go-to maintenance worker was out of town, the neighbors upstairs couldn't be reached despite knocking on their door, and being that it was late I was almost hopeless. I had sent off a text to the maintenance worker I was familiar with but had minimal expectations of a solution in time.
It was an hour past midnight when I got an unexpected knock at my door. I opened it up to find that another maintenance worker was there, he took a look around and told me he would be back shortly. About thirty minutes later he reappeared with a wet vac in tow and even a family member who was observing. Turns out he had been out at a party that night and dropped everything to fix the problem. And thank goodness for that because at that point I was probably about up to my ankle in water within the master bedroom and the hallway. More than an hour later and with much effort the water had been dealt with using the wet vac and several other methods. This would not be the end of it as the whole place was damp and dealing with the after effects of near flooding, so he hooked me up with a dehumidifier. Several days later the place would finally be bone dry and I have remembered that overall as the moment my respect was earned.
I have recently been to the pool area and from what I have seen the quality is better than it was previously, with a fine and non-slip material being used. This is in comparison to the past when the pool was largely underutilized by previous management, going mostly uncared for. When there are issues around the complex they are dealt with such as the time the sewer pipes beneath the building had to be replaced. We have a monthly pest extermination service that is provided to help keep the units pest free. I have been comfortable here for the past while and I think the current management is significantly responsible for why my stay has been good as of late.

Golfview flats is a great place to live. Every time I see the manager (Adam) on site always pleasant and polite.

This place is the WORST the hallways are very filthy. They have fruit files/roaches everywhere that go in the elevator and come into the apartment units due to the garage area not being cleaned at all which makes the place STINK. The property manager doesn’t care about the place/ tenants. Snow real estate is trash like the one that’s INFESTED with fruit files here. ALSO, if you do decide to move there the CAMERAS DO NOT WORK.

I got mold poisoning from a unit after 1.5 years when they began renovations without an inspection. We had to fight for our security deposit and hire an attorney. We have still yet to be reimbursed for the professional and licensed mold test that came back with extremely unhealthy levels. Nor the $11k in hospital bill. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Stay away! We have been here for just a year, we wanted to renew but after the new property management company, Snow Reality, has taken over the place is trash. Takes months to get maintenance requests filled, if you have a question don't expect to get an answer, raised the rent $300 and most apartments aren't updated. Current residents are being forced out, not allowing us to sign year leases, only Month to Month. There's no "Luxury" about this apartment nor do you have any amenities, pool and clubhouse have been "being remodeled" since we moved in a year ago.

Don’t be fooled by name nor entrance. Only thing “luxury” about this property is the name 😂. Cameras don’t work. Place smells horribly both due to lack of proper trash collection and a water treatment/sewage plant being directly across the street. Honestly I could go on and on about this place. Lived there 18months. Pool and clubhouse have been getting remodeled well before we arrived. Just keep in mind you’re spending almost 2000$ for 0 amenities (unless you count the elevator). If a property can visibly see a pool in this condition and let it sit like this for months, that should be enough to tell you what you’re signing up for 🙃. Not to mention the black mold that gave my brother respiratory issues. Couldn’t have left sooner.

Been here for over 5 years, and I must say that Jonas and Luz are the best and friendliest maintenance, and cleaning team since moving here. Thank you both.

OMG I was considering moving to this place, but, after I read the reviews about the mold, cockroaches and everything I understand why they are giving away 2 months rent for free. This kind of complaint is serious and they should solve it ASAP or get a new manager who cares.
