IL Lugano Residences

We have stayed here 5 times. It had been 4 years since our last visit.  With exception of a wonderful desk supervisor who went way and above to get me orange juice for a sugar plunge & one other very professional woman front desk was surly and unconcerned with housekeeping issues.  The only time we got towels was when I flagged a housekeeping supervisor on our floor. She even went as far as arranging our room to actually be cleaned next morning ( this was a 5 day stay). I was told by the desk at checkout the hotel gm would call me that morning over our issues.  Needless to say, I was NEVER contacted in any manner.
Additionally, room maintenance was not the prior standard, restraint not up to standard from before, no self park realistic option (need up with 40$ ticket even withpaying parking fee), hotel parking with valet including tip was $50 per night.  Up side an outstanding valet.
The only reason we had not stayed the 2 previous visits was the cost of over 400/night for a standard room during season.
We will NEVER stay here again even if it is the only hotel in 100 miles.

This is the best hotel i have ever been to and that greek desk agent is hospitality embodied! He should be running a full service resort, hes so good
