This apartment tried to charge my husban ...
This apartment tried to charge my husband and i almost 2 1/2 years after we left the apartment. Initially we left due my husbands military orders and we provided all of those documents the day we left and were cleared. Recently i got a call from a debt collector stating that we owed them money, which this was the first time we heard about that. When i spoke with the manager she told me that the military documents were never uploaded into the system and that she would get it done and get the fradulent charges removed. This was on february 7th. After waiting awhile and it still not being removed i had to chase them down to get in contact with her again because that office never answers their phone, they just let it ring, and she wouldn't respond to my emails. After finally getting in touch with her she stated that she had removed the charges and i would get a confirmation letter, that was on february 10th. It is now march 3rd and i have been calling and emailing everyday all day and they are ignoring my calls and emails and will not answer the phone. The online portal still says we owe this fraudulent charge and they haven't sent a confirmation letter. Now i have to have one of my family members go out of their way to go to the office just to speak with someone to get this charged removed. The managers name is Mariah Cruz. These people suck

Hello Tyrica,Everything you are stating is correct, minus a few things. We did speak, with the debt collection agency on a 3 way and had everything cleared that same day. The charges are going to remain on the online portal because you are a past tenant now but nothing is effecting your credit or rental history. You were also never on the lease so we have no record of who you are. There’s no need for anyone to come to the office because the manner was handled with all parties involved. As for the phones, we only have 1 phone line and we have a very busy office. I sincerely apologize that you have not had the best experience.
