Monterey Village Homeowners

Very lowkey overall - neighbors are all decent people but the pool has been out of order for almost a year out of the 2 years I've been here with no sign of it being repaired insight. Just be aware if you're looking to move in for the pool.

Doty is the best in everything she dose ! Never met a manger that responds so fast and is so helpful , it’s such a surprise to me in this world today that most of the mangers don’t answer or are so rude ! Ronit

I cant wait to move from here, My landlord doesnt fix anything, my kitchen  cabinets are falling off the walls, and I always have problems when I have guest here, but I've had it with this place....one evening my mother in law came home with my 8 year old and my mother in law usually has her ID, I guess she had misplaced it that day and tried giving security her work ID to identify herself. Personally I dont see that as a problem? She is on the guess list because I work most of the times and I can not answer. Long story short the lady refused to let my mother in law in, saying it was not a valid ID, and not only that . . she claim to not have my number on file, which is a lie because the front gate has contacted me for the other times I've had other guess. My daughter had to walk from the front gate to our apartment which is located towards the back of the buildings. My daughter is 8 years old, and as mother I don't trust anyone when it comes to her, I don't know whom may have been watching, but that evening my daughter called me saying someone kept knocking on the door. I had to tell her to ignore it and go to sleep until I get home. My daughter gets home around 3 and I get off work at 5. It really upsets me that my daughter had to be alone, which I never do, nor find ok, all because her grandmother could not get in or stay. When asked the lady at the gate what happened, she  rudely told me she was doing her job and I need to contact the board, if I had an issue. Im just really upset because its scary leaving my child at home with no adult or supervisor.

I have live here for 10 + years and over time (each year)the management, the head Board/President's, and Security at the guard gate gets worst and worst, this place is a disgrace, we pay mentanice, and our so called mentanice guy DOSE NOTHING but sits in his red truck all day talking to security. Every now and then a crew comes out to trim the bushes and the pool is dirty & the Jaccuzi is always broken, also beware they tow cars if you don’t have a pass. It really sucks that you get ONE parking space, and if you have two cars in your household!!!I've also notice most of the town homes have a/c or leakage problems (old buildings) and (bad constructive) I remodel and installed my kitchen cabinets because they were so old and weak (of 3 years in living here), Mangement is never helpful, the presidents have meetings that never address bigger issues. I just find going to meeting pointless. The head board/ Presidents only walk around at 5pm patrolling the pool area, they barely greet or even speak to any residents  , I don't even know who voted these people in, as for security is not so bad . . Despite the long lines that flow out into the street and road way blocking traffic. There have also been robberies in homes at this complex, including  with my car (which is directly parked infront of the security gate) but our so call cameras are cut off at an angle.  We are home owners and we do not rent here, and we can't wait to get the heck out of this place. We are afraid to even rent are town home  because WE in fact know there will be lots of problems and issues with are future vendors/tenants reguarding mangement. We will just save the headache and stress. This place is a Freaking Joke. (ALSO THIS IS MY SECOND TIME POSTING THIS) because I got removed! The two people that’s gave good reviews are apart of the borad committee (FAKE REVIEWS)
