Constant Rent Hikes for a building built in 1959 with no updates to the louvre windows. Why do I see FL Tax incentives for window efficiency replacement everywhere and yet this building sits As is. At least they are replacing the rusted out AC window units. The Rotella’s that manage this building do the bare minimum, though not the worst slum lords they are just that. Most likely they write the building off as a depreciating asset while collecting over $40k is recent rent increase from 20+ tenants. We already knew of the previous rent increase from the tenants. The back parking lot is being taking over by Native Reality employees and customers from the commercial businesses. Some vehicles have been parked here for years just sitting. The area around this building is sprinkled with homeless, bike thieves and non community resident speeding through Victoria Park neighborhood. If they had any sense they could be charging non building residents for a monthly parking pass. That could hopefully let them release the death grip they have, bleeding out their tenants. John the maintenance man is the best this place has to offer, Kind and easy to speak to.
