Worst place to live . DO NOT MOVE HERE . Especially if you have kids. There’s always a shooting the cops are always by here I had to move because of my safety. In 3 months that I have been here I have seen two broken cars and people arguing screaming while I am with my 6 year old. The smell of marijuana is ridiculous, I know that is something people can’t avoid but you have people smoking on the stairs while you are trying to go up. The leasing office I can’t even say how rude those people are they don’t even say good morning this is so unbelievable how rude how they maintain the building it’s dirty windows broken there’s always a problem I don’t even sleep at night. Thankfully I left but I hope this message helps others so they don’t waist there money in a place like this like I did.

I am a current tenant here at Lakehouse apartments. I moved in just prior to January 1st 2025.. I have read many reviews and I would like to share my honest review on my brief experience here at Lakehouse thus far.
Originally, I paid prorated rent to move in mid December. However the apartments were not ready to be occupied due to repairs that needed to be done. I was told they would be completed prior to moving in. I gave grace due to the holiday.  However the repairs still weren't done prior to me moving in. So, I paid prorated rent for December and couldn't move in until January. Which means I gave Lakehouse free money.
Maintenance is the biggest issue I have living here thus far. In order to get them to do repairs after making a request multiple times, I have to call the front office to have things get done. There is a 24 hour emergency maintenance phone number that goes unanswered.
The office staff are efficient and professional. Any concerns or needs that I have had, was addressed promptly. The office is great with follow up to ensure any issue has been resolved.
I have not experienced any mold or roach infestation issues. The complex is exterminated monthly.
I read a review that stated the parking is terrible. Parking is plentiful however there is no assigned parking. The parking lots are in good condition. There was a review that stated the pools are closed. The pools are open and the area is kept up nicely. Children accompanied by adults and adults enjoy the pool if weather permits. I haven't come across any homeless people loitering on any of the properties as one review said.
The complex does a great job of keep the grounds manicured. Garbage can run over out of control but that's because tenants do a poor job of using empty garbage cans that are available and choose to pile garbage in a garbage can that's fill to capacity. The garbage is emptied on a regular basis by maintenance. The garbage isn't piled up for long.
For the most part the community I live in is nice and peaceful. There are a few harmless stray cats that the neighbors feed (I wish they wouldn't) My neighbors who live above me and to the left of me can be very loud at times. The complex does ask that you give them a call if your neighbors are disruptive and they will address the matter.
Overall my stay has been average due to maintenance issues and noisey neighbors. I would have given 4 stars if maintenance was more efficient.

Avoid This Place – Mold Issues & Deposit Scam I would not recommend living here. During my time at LAKE HOUSE APARTMENTS , I dealt with significant mold problems that management failed to properly address. Despite maintaining the apartment in good condition, they refused to return my security deposit when I moved out, with little to no valid explanation. The lack of accountability and poor living conditions make this place not worth the hassle. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Place needs repairs, few apartments updated they show them to convince you to move in however the pool never open, infested with roaches, rent  continue rising but a new tenant prices low and older residence rent higher. It’s not fair!!!! Maintenance doesn’t understands English…..

I would advise everyone to be careful renting with this company. I've had a very bad experience. I moved out on October 31st , 2024 and until today 02/11/2025 I've not received my security deposit. I've gone to their office to get  information about my deposit and they threatened to call the police on me. I had to call the police myself to be escorted . I've gone there twice since December and I still haven't gotten my security deposit. This is unacceptable.

My husband and I went to apply the same and got approved instantly. The complex is very nice and clean and well put. We wanna thanks Alexis and Rolando the leasing manager a thanks for helping us make this transfer easy. Over all everyone was very nice and profesional as well.

I am very happy with the management of Lakehouse Apartments! Chessie is the kindest, most professional person I have dealt with in a while! I was in a real need to help my mother find a place to live and Chessie made everything happened timely and accurately. The place was clean, the community is clean and  quiet! Mama is happy!

Please don’t waste your time here ! During the course of my lease nothing was never repaired in the apartment! Throughout the time of me living there I never gave any problems and paid on time. I moved out in March of 2024 and I’ve been waiting on my security deposit since then.IT IS ABOUT TO BE SEPTEMBER! My money was handed over for rent every month without an issue. Now it’s time for them to refund the money of a security deposit and they are basically holding my money ransom. No one has $1,000 + to hand over to an apartment that’s not even worth this 1 star review.  If you want to be ignored by the leasing office this is the perfect apartment for you.
