Loft Downtown II

Great investment, Sound HOA (with reserves ), walking distance to Club Space. Jolene, Miami Sound Bar, Tipsy flamingo, Mama Tried, my favorite The Trip.

I tried an Airbnb here and have mixed feelings about this building. On the one hand, the location is great if you want to be downtown. The train goes through the building (literally) and it’s not far from the park. But it’s run down, and as a result there is a renovation taking place that has shut down the coworking lounge (and there isn’t much space to work outside of lounge chairs anywhere else). The rooftop gym is cool, but the men’s bathroom isn’t working so don’t hydrate too much or you’re in trouble 🤦‍♂️ I thought the downstairs pool was beautiful but the bathroom was really gross, with dead beetles and it wasn’t clean. Anyway, I left.

When it rains hard, it gets flooded at the entrance. Lots of crazy homeless roaming around, one threw a punch at me just for the heck of it. Traffic during peak hours is a nightmare, same when you're back from grocery shopping, gotta park on the street take a cart rush up and pray the elevator work lol. Lots of police activity, emergency vehicles sirens throughout the day, so if you work at night you're screwed. Only good was that it was a block away from MDC wolfson campus which I was attending during my lease other than that it was not a pleasant experience. I'd moved to Sunny Isles Beach, paying less than I did in this dump, beautiful and quiet neighborhood close to an amazing beach.

I would not live here until Nirva and Yadira are fired. Two Karens who peaked in life as 8th grade bullies. It's not worth it, trust me.
