Midtown Doral - Building 1

I’m writing to share my deeply frustrating experience living at Midtown Doral Building 1. Unfortunately, it has been anything but the ideal residence I anticipated. Elevator Issues: Since my move-in, the elevator has been a constant problem. It has broken down multiple times, often forcing residents to climb several flights of stairs. This is not only inconvenient but also a significant safety concern.
Parking Problems: The residential parking situation is equally problematic. Spots are scarce, and the parking garage has been under construction for over a year. Half of it remains incomplete, creating a chaotic and unsafe environment.
Management Negligence: The management company has been notably unresponsive to these issues. They have consistently failed to meet their promises, particularly regarding the new gym and pool. Initially promised for January 2024, the completion date has been pushed to May 2024, and as of mid-September, there is still no sign of progress.
Noise Disturbances: To make matters worse, MIXED CYCLE ARTS, which operates in the building, has severely disrupted the previously peaceful environment. The noise levels are unbearable, with music blasting from inadequate equipment. The clientele from this facility are also notably inconsiderate, further degrading the living experience.
In summary, my time at Midtown Doral Building 1 has been marred by persistent issues, poor management, and a significant decline in the quality of life due to construction and noise disturbances. I strongly advise prospective tenants to look elsewhere and avoid leasing here to save yourself from a similarly disappointing experience.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!! It’s been less than a year since I moved in and my girlfriend and I are already looking for our next place to live. And these are the reasons why
1.***MCA Cycle***
There is a cycling class on the first floor. Sounds fun right? Well actually this cycling class BLASTS music multiple times a day. Starting at 6 IN THE MORNING. During which you can hear heavy base and the song itself playing all throughout the apartment. I’ve spoken to multiple tenants and they’ve all had the same issue. I’ve called the police multiple times, complained to the front desk, the property manager, the head of the condo association and it literally hasn’t helped. The owners are stubborn and refuse to even just lower the music.
2. Parking
The parking situation is an absolute joke. Every unit gets 1 parking spot, even though there is a ton of available parking. My girlfriend and I both have cars so naturally we would need at least 2. But nope here was nothing midtown Doral could do for us so we ended up having to pay an additional $150 MONTHLY to have a second parking space. Also if you decide to live here I hope you’re not a fan of having people over. Getting a guest parking pass is a circus. No one seems to be fully aware of what the actual rules are. Our security, our realtor, and our front desk all told us different policies. One night I had 5 friends over. No loud music no drinking, nothing crazy. I requested 5 parking passes at which point the person at the front desk told me only 2 were allowed PER MONTH. My friends were already on the way so they still came. And guess what? Since they left passed 1am (1:20 to be exact) they ALL still got stickers put on their windows. Even the two Thant got passes.
3. The walls are extremely thin
I’ll never forget our first week here. I took the whole week off to move and unpack. Then one morning the alarm woke me up. I roll over and asked my girl to turn off her alarm. She then told me it wasn’t her phone so I went to check my phone and it wasn’t mines either. IT WAS MY NEIGHBORS ALARM. And that’s not all. You can hear every conversation my neighbor has, you can even hear when he snores. Even just walking through the halls you can hear what people are talking about. And it’s not because we were being nosy, the walls here are just that thin!!
4. Construction
This will be the smallest section but, the sixth floor of the parking garage is under construction, the elevators never work in the garage or the building. There’s construction happening on the first floor because they’re building a new business. Some mornings I get woken up my MCA cycle at 6am followed by jackhammers at 7-8. There’s never any peace here.
5. Conclusion
If you read all of this and are still considering moving here, then I honestly wish you the very best. All I ask is that after the first few months, when you’re telling yourself “wow I should’ve listened to that guy on the google review” you write a review yourself so that you may prevent someone else making the same stupid mistake.

So expensive apartments!! Lots of people selling. They say there are lawsuits for structural defects.

Do not recommend living here!!! Husband is a heart failure patient and have expressed this matter to management and parking supervisor and it was completely disregarded. Pay for parking here and just had my car towed for parking on the second floor for 20 MINUTES because of an emergency, life happens, things happen! it’s ridiculous how it’s daytime and my car gets taken like that!!!! Parking rules change every month!!!! It’s not even after hours, those parking spots don’t belong to ANY residents. It’s just so ridiculous at this point, I’ve been residing here for TOO long now for management to not get organized with this situation. There’s is always something with this management. Had the elevators broken for 5 MONTHS and still didn’t let their residents park on the first or second floor. There’s no other word for other than ridiculous with how this management team thinks logically

Been living here around 2 years my cars been towed multiple times. Money wasted out of my own pocket! No type of ownership from the office everyone plays the blame game nobody takes responsibility!!

The management are working with towing company’s or something cause their needs to be a investigation going on building managers won’t help, their are multiple rumors of women being attacked at night that they are keeping hush it’s disgusting Someone please take further actin before someone gets hurt

DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE!! Management is terrible and parking is always an issue. they will tow your car even if you have a parking pass. I have a car sticker for parking and they still gave me a warning because i didn’t park head in. How are you going to dictate how i park my car in a parking spot I pay for?? I pay way too much money to live here for the elevators and doors to be out of service for WEEKS (see picture). There are so many other nice places in doral that don’t have INSANE property management/HOA’s for probably way cheaper too. DONT MOVE HERE - management/security is terrible and want to control everything and have ridiculous rules!!!

Very bad experience!! Parts of my car have been stolen in the building's parking lot, a bicycle was also stolen from the parking lot. Nobody is responsible for anything and the attention at the Reception is fatal. The manager, Salome, is rude to the tenants. Nothing good to add. Living in Miami, nothing like this has ever happened to me.
