Mission Lakes Apartments

I lived in this place for 4 years recently moved in November. There after awaiting my deposit they sent me a letter trying to charge me my deposit plus 1.200 dollars.
Stating I didn’t give them proper notice after speaking to them 3 times I did exactly what I was told to do they lied.  They told me
I would only have to just finish my lease.
I spoked to them several times there after but they just put you off .
Now it’s February and haven’t heard from them my wife went to the office and was told we are working on your paper work.
Two weeks have gone by nothing.
They like to scam you and the Manager he is a BS artist.
I think I will be calling a lawyer to see what options I have
Honestly they charged me for a few items and that was all.
So we should assume I should have received the rest of my deposit.

The people are excellent, the service is fast and especially Mrs. Maritsa is very kind. My son has been there for two years without problems and I have found a lot of peace of mind, thank you.

My experience at Mission Lakes was great, lived there for 6 years. I felt very safe especially with all the cameras that were installed.
The complex is clean and quiet. The maintenance team were very friendly, courteous and always helpful .
The office team Maria and Maritsa are the best, treated me with respect and kindness, never encountered any problems with them whatsoever.
It’s pet friendly and  family oriented, I would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks mission lakes for breaking the law and entering my unit when I was not home and then getting sued in court and losing and helping me secure my new next place. All my furniture was brand new and I cleared out my unit left to visit family up north they said I abandoned it since I did not have food in my unit. But they had no reason to enter it at all. Once they let me know they broke the law by entering I got a lawyer quick and they got sued triple the amount for my rent at the time. Also when I left they charged me for a roach infestation which was already establishing in when I first moved in and realized quickly the roaches are basically the entire infrastructure. Don’t let the apartment fool you or those people they are wicked and they lost in my case. So do your research someone must notify you before entering your unit. And also, document everything take pictures screenshots download voice recording apps if u need to only 2$ in Apple Store it got me thousands from their fraudulent ways. Anyways don’t rent here it’s not worth being micro monitored and harassed God bless

Mission Lakes is the worst place to EVER lease from. They robbed me and lied to me and my family. They asked for a hefty amount for a security deposit then asked for a pet fee of $700 and did not return our security deposit and kept the pet fee which we already knew. They claimed my dogs bit their blinds and my dogs are trained and never did that. That unit was given to us in that condition. They charged us for it and instead of taking it out from the pet fee they took it out from our security deposit. When we decided not to renew our lease because that unit was falling apart, we were unaware they needed a certain amount of days to let them know. They send out their notice backwards which confuses people. So we begged and ask listen it’s only a few days off please we need our money. Told us to email manager which we did and never got a response back, but the leasing agent told me over the phone he will waive that. Which was a lie. The maintenance people are rude and come in whenever their hearts desire. Only 1 maintenance person was nice. The manager never shows his face, and hides in his office when you want to talk to him. Leasing agent is a liar. Our unit was involved in a fire prior to us moving and they never disclose that information to us and I have Asthma. We read some of the reviews when we already sighed paperwork and they were all bad. This place needs a wake up call! They are racist and I’m Hispanic but was treated unfairly

I would never live in this place again, the bureaucracy and dictatorship they have is horrible, if you are not in their relationship they will treat you like a stranger following the rules to the letter.  They inspected the place where I lived and said I had a small unplugged gas tank unused for a grill and that it was terrible and that they didn't know if they would renew or not, I waited the contract time and never heard back (what they wanted was to wait for If the terms expired and then increase what they decided or pay your fine for letting the time pass or accept the huge increase, what were they going to do to me, so I told them beforehand that I was leaving due to other irregularities and oh surprise when I handed over my painted apartment and completely clean they deducted 30 dollars saying that it was dirty and that some light bulbs disappeared, I have been an electrician for 12 years, I would never steal a few light bulbs even if I knew I bought in quantity.
I didn't get into an argument because my wife kept me, but if you're not in her mafia they throw you out at any time for things they think should be done.  I would never live there again, EVER.

I’ve been living here for 7 years and I love it. The complex is very quite, it has a pool, a little park for kids. When we have and issue in the apartment maintenance is always here to fix things, they also provide pest control and change the filter every month. I would recommend to live here.
