The two star rating is based on the valet and front desk staff. Cons:
It is advisable to consider the property's low star rating. The infrastructure of this establishment is notably antiquated and lacks proper upkeep. Despite residing here for an entire year, I refrained from utilizing the pool and the gym due to concerns regarding cleanliness. The condition of the pool is particularly unsanitary, posing potential health risks. Furthermore, the elevators are slow, and valet parking during busy times can be a nightmare, sometimes having to circle the block in busy Brickell for 15 minutes before I can pull in.
I strongly advise against renting from 505, as the state of the apartment's carpet was disgusting. My health suffered throughout my tenancy due to the presence of mold within the unit. Additionally, there are issues with the landlord's handling of damages, including charging almost 1k for paint on a 500 sq ft apartment without providing receipts for completed work.
Management:
Management operations are passable. The manager does address concerns efficiently. However, there is room for improvement in the realm of customer service, particularly concerning the assistants ability to handle conflict.
Pros:
The staff employed at the property is mostly amazing. Contrastingly, during my initial occupancy, there were instances of unprofessional behavior amongst staff members like arguing with spouses on the phone, putting feet on the tables, not addressing guest when they come in, etc. I would like to express my gratitude to Carmen, Lucia, and the other staff, as well as Carlos and Henrich from the valet service, for their exceptional dedication and professionalism. Their efforts are truly commendable, and they are deserving of recognition for their hard work.
