When I first moved in to Natura Gardens ...
When I first moved in to Natura Gardens I was painted and assured this as a new modern luxury residence to live at, the office was super attentive and kind..until we signed our lease and moved in and we were met with the truth. My experience has been far from what was promised. Immediately after my move-in, I encountered significant difficulties in reaching the management team. My emails and phone calls went unanswered, necessitating in-person visits to the office. Unfortunately, these visits were often inconvenient due to long wait times or staff being occupied with showing new units. On several occasions, I waited over 45 minutes to an hour to speak with someone.
Despite repeated follow-ups, my emails remained unanswered for extended periods, including one instance where I followed up on a single email for over two months without any response. Phone calls were similarly unproductive, with the office phone remaining unanswered regardless of the number of employees present. This persistent lack of responsiveness has been attributed to frequent staff turnover, with over eight employees replaced in the past 10 months.
The units appear to have been constructed in a rush and with substandard materials. Initially, the unit we were assigned had to be returned due to significant water and electrical issues that were noticed at our walkthrough, needing our relocation to another unit. Unfortunately, the new unit also experienced electrical problems, with several outlets in the kitchen and living room non-functional. It took over a month for an electrician to address these issues. Additionally, the closet fixture fell off the wall multiple times within the first month despite minimal use, indicating that both the wall and the fixture materials are inadequate for regular use. This issue extends to other components such as cabinets, railings, and door handles, all of which seem to lack quality and durability. Frequent vibrations, similar to seismic activity (earthquake), are often felt within the unit, causing a disturbing sense that the building could collapse, raising concerns about the building’s structural integrity. These vibrations have resulted in visible cracks within the units, indicating a potentially serious safety issue. I have notated this to the office, and they simply laugh and say that the building was constructed to withhold these.
Appliances provided are also of poor quality. The washer and dryer are excessively loud and cause significant vibrations throughout the apartment. The refrigerator has required multiple part replacements due to ongoing malfunctions. Furthermore, the air conditioning units frequently freeze, necessitating prolonged periods with the AC turned off to allow it to defrost, a consequence of the equipment being of subpar quality.
While the building promotes itself as pet-friendly, it has not addressed the significant issues related to pests and wildlife. The presence of mosquitoes, gnats, snakes, and toads around the property has created an environment that is not only unpleasant but also hazardous for pet owners. The abundance of these pests and animals poses serious safety risks, given that some are highly toxic. For instance, during a recent walk, my dog and I were sprayed by a toad, which required immediate decontamination to ensure both my dog's safety and our well-being. The lack of effective measures to manage this situation undermines the pet-friendly claim and raises serious concerns about the safety and livability of the premises.
At the time of my move-in, I was assured that the building's amenities, particularly the gym, would be available 24/7 for residents. This feature was pivotal in my decision to move here and I even canceled own gym membership. Unfortunately, this promise has not been fulfilled. Access to the amenities is severely restricted, and their usage is limited to those who have a flexible schedules or work from home. Even then, the facilities are often overcrowded and inadequately maintained.
