New Castle Lake Waterfront Apartments

Living here for the past few years, I have never had a problem with my unit. Rarely needed any maintenance and when I did, management responded promptly. The lake can be seen from every apartment and I very much enjoyed the view, took countless pictures of the sunsets. Watching the Florida wildlife was peaceful a nice break from the hustle of the city, yet you are close by everything you could want in Miami. The apartment is really big I was able to fit a king bed with plenty of room for other furniture, all the finishings were new and updated, no carpet which was great for controlling my allergies, if it wasn’t for me moving out of state, I would of easily renewed my lease. It’s rare to find such a value in an already expensive city. I was lucky.

Every time I come to this property and the Managers are very friendly, especially Maria, I think she is the best, she is very nice.

I love living here, all the workers are very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend living here.

Please beware of this complex. Don’t be fooled by the pictures!! Come visit for yourself and get an apartment tour! I came from out of state and was in a hurry to find a place so I did not have the time to visit it prior to signing a lease! PLEASE VISIT FIRST! I lived here for one year and I’m so grateful to be out. It is absolutely not worth the price. The unit is dirty, residents dog urinate & poop on the stairs and all over complex. The managers threaten they’ll fine people who leave pet waste on unit, but it still continues. The quality of the unit is in a really bad shape. There’s a major mold problem, the unit I was in, they painted over the mold on the walls, I did not discover it until I was actually moving out, by then it had spread. It is in a high crime area. Every couple of weeks the street leading up to it would close down because someone was shot. This is a money hungry business. I deposited 1875, but they went ahead and want to take $500 for “paint the unit fee”, $150 for “cleaning fee” and $95 for “exit fee.” Regardless if you left the unit in better shape than you found it. Know that you’re not getting most of your deposit back. There are a lot cheaper and better quality units in Miami, but please do not make the same mistake I made. Feel free to reach out, I have so much more I could say. Just do proper research! Update:
After I wrote this review, I received a phone call from the apartment complex requesting that I take down my Google review and as a result will get my full deposit back. Please beware of this place. They have no integrity.

I do not care how this management team is trying to shame me or embarrass me on this platform, I will still speak my truth. You will not bully me into removing this post. I also tolerated your mold infected unit. I tolerated your poor response to my maintenance issue. I tolerated dog feces on the stairs, hallways, & grass. I tolerated poorly painted/paint chippings/ leaky pipes and so many other issues this unit has. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!
