The building has its own charm and is located in a wonderful area. The residents are great, kind people, but the management company and the building’s board are completely incompetent. Renovations have been ongoing for five years, and almost everything that has been renovated needs to be redone. When you enter the garage, it looks as if they are about to start renovating, but it’s supposedly already finished. The floors are uneven, cables are hanging, pipes are not aligned, and it leaks when it rains. It’s simply a clear example of poor management. This is far from American standards. They demolished the pool and can’t even obtain permission to rebuild it. I’m deeply disappointed—why would they destroy something that was beautiful and functioning without securing the permits to rebuild it? Where is the logic in that? Who is managing this so poorly? They renovated the balconies, and yesterday’s inspection showed that everything needs fixing. Over $50 million has been spent, and 80% of the work needs to be redone. The office manager, Tammy Fajardo, behaves as if all the residents are there to serve her. Let me remind you, she should be serving the residents because her salary comes from our money. She can’t handle even basic day-to-day problems, and simple issues that are reported remain unresolved. Residents are not kept informed about important matters and often find out from security guards who get instructions from the office. This entire mess is under the supervision of Castle Management LLC, to whom my wife has repeatedly reported issues, but nothing has been done. It’s heartbreaking to see such a beautiful building by the ocean being managed by such an incompetent group of people.
