These are big scammers. Stay away from this place. Recomendo la policia investigar el management de este lugar.
I signed the application for an apartment. No one responded. They lost the application but took the money regardless. After much insisting and 1 month later they offered me a lesser apartment at a higher price. When I refused the apartment, they refused to return the money of my deposit.

This review is SOLELY based off the guest parking situation as it’s extremely out of hand. While I understand why paying for parking (and at a very reasonable rate, I will say) has been implemented, the tow truck company associated with the building are abusing their power. It makes one wonder what kind of deal they have going on with the property management company. It’s quite unpleasant and distasteful for such a “nice building” having an invited guests parking be expired for no more than 30mins and her car being towed. The norm for any pay-by-phone is a ticket. If one never paid, ok go ahead and tow. But for a car that is a resident’s guest that paid and surpassed the time limit for not even 1 hour is pretty rude and disrespectful to tenants that pay their rent on time and do their best to respect and take care of the property. Other than that I truly do enjoy living here.

The entire team of management and maintenance are a joke (Paula, Paul, Otto, Ian, Brandon). We have had an issue in our apartment with the AC having a loud clanking noise that goes on throughout the day and night. I can’t sleep or concentrate properly in this apartment. We have reported this multiple times during our time living here and they come back with a report saying there is no noise. They have made attempts to come fix this by opening a hole in our wall, and placing a wood stud to muffle the sound but this was a bandaid. The noise got worse and so they opened the wall again removing our washer/dryer and leaving it there for a week without any resolution. They told us specialists would come to our unit and so we took days off from our job to wait for hvac specialists to come fix this. NO ONE SHOWED UP on the days they told us, and management would shrug their shoulders every time we asked what time the specialists were going to show up. I called them the next day and they lied to our face saying the specialists were there trying to fix the issue. I haven’t been able to sleep properly and for the price we pay, this is totally unacceptable. If you wanna risk it by living here do it, but don’t expect any help from management in case something breaks in your unit. Pros:
- calm environment
- pet friendly
- nice views from apt
Cons:
-everything breaks /dirty
-elevators constantly not working
-no free parking for visitors
-management not very good
-dangerous

It's been 6 months since we requested maintenance on the gym equipment (the cable of which broke). Imagine the rest of the equipment that hasn't been maintained for over 6 months.
Would you work out on equipment that has never been maintained?

The worst experience!!! I don't recommen ...
The worst experience!!! I don't recommend them at all!!! Before applying, keep in mind that the people in charge will let you know that everything is fine, the reality is that the elevators work from time to time, the carpets in the hallways are disgusting, the common areas are always filthy, the gym, the machines are bad in their condition. The entire Mail room is a disaster, packages are lost, the parking lot is NOT a safe place, any number of cars enter, sometimes even people who do NOT reside!!! It lasted more than 6 months with humidity in the main bathroom that made us sick. The repair took a long time, being delicate for anyone's health!!! Right now I have been waiting for more than 2 months for my deposit to be returned. They are deducting any number of things when we delivered in optimal conditions... I attach photos!!!

We want to inform you that we have recently replaced the hallway carpets with hardwood floors to improve the cleanliness and appearance of our common areas. We also confirm that the elevators and the gym are 100% operational for our residents.
Regarding the humidity in your bathroom, we sincerely regret any impact this may have had on your well-being. Our team was fixing a leak coming from the second floor and at the same time trying to fix their unit. We appreciate your patience with this situation and are glad we were able to resolve it.
On the topic of the security deposit, we confirm that your deposit was sent to you on September 26, 2024, which was 26 days after your move-in date. If you put the correct address, you should have already received it. If that is not the case, please email us here: FAS@neologylife.com

I was very disconcerted when I finished  ...
I was very disconcerted when I finished not even renting for 3 years. They charged me a fee of $300.00 for damage to the stove surface. This charge is fair because I always had it in mind and I knew that they were going to deduct it. What is wrong is that they deducted it. $200.00 more for Move-out fee, When I received my Final Account Statement I asked Mr. Otto and his response was that there is a state law where they are authorized to collect it...... I asked him if this Fee appeared in the contract and obviously the answer was No. It is unacceptable that they want to deduct money because Yes, The point is that I review my contract and in no paragraph or clause does it mention said Fee. My recommendation is to be attentive to the people who are leaving the facilities and do not care. this situation occurs. They cannot take money from us because they only decide, because it is supposedly a state law. There are no documents, there are no signatures, there was no discussion when the unit was delivered. It was just a surprise.

It’s been 8 months since I moved out, an ...
It’s been 8 months since I moved out, and I still haven’t received my security deposit of $7500.therefore  I was forced to sell my loved car cheaply to pay urgent bills recently. Here is the story, On August 2023, I sent an email to Pier19 Manager Brandon Claro asking about the status of the check, and called serval times, no reply. So on December 2023, I had to fly to Miami from LA, to visit their office. Manager Brandon Claro was a little shocked to see me, and he explained the Check might have been lost on the way, he said he will send me a new check to my new address on next week. But 1 month has passed by, and I still didn't received it, so I emailed Brandon Claro again, clearly, he had forgotten to send out my check, so he told me he will mail out my check ASAP, and he did , But when I opened the mail he sent, there is no check inside, there is only a statement showing the balance Pier 19 owes me( see picture 2) Clearly, Dear Manager Brandon Claro has forgotten to put the check in the envelope when he sent out the mail. I called the office agian, a lady said Brandon is busy he will get back to me shortly that day, but he didn’t.   Obviously, Manager Brandon does not care about his work and is not capable of doing the work.
Here are a few reasons
1) He doesn't reply to important emails and phone calls from residents even though he received them ( see pictures 4
2) He still sent my deposit check to the wrong address, even though I flew to his office telling him to update my new address.
3) Before I moved out, I asked him how long will it take to receive my deposit check, he smiled contemptuously,  and said" I will send it ASAP, I'm sure your life depends on it. (made me feel somehow despised)
4) In my personal opinion, Manager Brandon Claro exhibits surface-level friendliness, politeness, and professional dedication, but beneath this exterior lie, there is a rudeness, arrogance, and disrespect true nature. His social media posts have further reinforced my opinion( see picture 5). ( notice to reader: this is just my personal opinion, not objects facts)
Now  I’m contacting my lawyers to take legal actions  and I urge Pier 19 to contact me ASAP and possibly find a new manager who is capable of doing the basic jobs.

Hi Tasha,Our accounting department has confirmed that your security deposit was sent in January 2024 via wire transfer to the account number you provided. Prior to this transfer, we mailed you two checks to the address provided that had to be subsequently voided due to a change in your address. We take these matters seriously and one of our team members has reached out to you via email and phone, but have not received a response from you. Again, confirming this deposit was processed earlier this year, and we also received your written confirmation of its receipt.In the meantime, we recommend thoroughly reviewing your records for verification.
