Pier 19 Residences and Marina

I have been living in this building for around three years now, and I find it to be a wonderful place to live. However, I have been facing some issues with the parking app and maintenance services. They have not been able to resolve the issues in a timely manner. Despite this, I must say that I have really enjoyed my stay here, and I want to thank Brandon for his hard work in ensuring that the building is well-maintained, and everything is running smoothly. Like every other apartment, this one also has its fair share of issues. But overall, the building is great, with beautiful amenities and a great view of the lake. My apartment is very spacious, and I love the wraparound balcony.

I have been living in this building for many years and I don’t plan on moving anytime soon. Brandon from the management office is so nice and helpful, I am very happy to call Pier 19 home.

We’re living in this building with my wife for almost 2 years. We also had some roach problem but thanks to the management they took take care of it. Maybe not everything is perfect, but you can not exchange Brandon’s friendship to perfection.   I had a few issues in the apartment some of them even may be considered as serious but all of them were addressed and fixed. I don’t know what other people expecting, but this is life things may happen, and what I only care is how the management is taking care of them there’s nothing else other than saying thank you to them. This is where I call home and without Brandon it would not be!

Move here if you enjoy living with roaches and using outdated appliances. After living at Pier 19 in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment for a year, my partner and I asked to transfer to a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment due to rising housing costs. Much to our surprise, we were given the keys to a nasty, uninhabitable cockroach ridden unit with a lot of issues. And you would not believe just how apathetic new management at Pier 19 was when we asked to terminate the lease after all of their pest control treatments proved ineffective.
Once again, ALL of Pier 19's pest control treatments were ineffective. We found living roaches from the day we moved into the apartment, right up until we had enough and decided to pack up and leave the nightmare behind for good.
Please do not give the new management team and building another cent out of principle.

Terrible experience for the last 2 years . My apartment is infested with cockroaches and they don’t fumigate properly . They elevated the rent and amenities are not clean . There is garbage in elevators  , carpets , elevators broken , washer machines old /broken etc . I am very concerned for my security in here . I am not renewing my contract . There is tailgating constantly and ilegal Airbnb in this building . Every day and night people wait behind others residents CARS to get access . This is not a normal behavior .

Do not be fooled by appearances. Pier19 is a place infested with cockroaches everywhere (in common areas and inside the apartments), the place is dirty, unpleasant and repulsive. The carpets in the common areas stink of dog urine, the hallways, parking lot and air conditioning ducts have an UNBEARABLE smell of MARIJUANA ALMOST DAILY. Everything is neglected, broken or dirty and the craziest thing of all? The administration couldn't care less. They are going to keep your deposit money at the slightest chance they have.

I regret so much the day I decided to rent in this property. Since my lease started August 17, 2022, I realized that the management department does whatever they want, with each of the tenants and of course with your money. . First I did an event at the river lounge and they asked me for a deposit to reserve the place and the security which they never gave me back and they didn't tell me why until after 30 days I had to approach them and demand an explanation why they didn't return my deposit. Their excuse was because the floor was scratched by some wheels of a cart that they manipulate to clean the common areas. Which I have proof that those same stripes are found throughout the common areas of the building and in addition, before handing over the place properly, I sent a video of how I was leaving the property to the supervisor Yendri, which was accepted and reviewed and I responded, thank you very much. Afterwards I spoke with Brandon who replaced Yendri who is the other manager of Pier 19. He told me that he was going to take charge of the matter because Yendri had been fired, which I believed was true what he said and the lies began until the day Since I was leaving the property, he assured me that he would return the deposit without charging me the move out fee. And that he would return it to me in my deposit check that I delivered to the property, which was never the case. Very disappointed in this place. Not only because of the verbal abuse that the management office department usually provides. Yendri, Brandon, Barbara and others, if not, in the infectious conditions that are experienced every day in this place. Starting with the dog park, in this place you cannot even walk your dog, it is full of excrement, urine, a bad smell, it is a disgusting and nauseating area that is even bad for your pet and they don't even deign to clean it, the same thing happens In the common areas of the place, the parking lot is a no-man's area, the surveillance cameras don't even work, they attacked me and stole a cover from my car and when I went to ask them to check the cameras they told me that they couldn't do anything about it and that I had to call the police to file a report with them. Because according to them they make their rounds daily and have not seen anything bad. Can you believe this?? These Pier 19 administrators are a joke. The dirty parking lot, full of cockroaches, in the elevators, hallways and apartments. I had to fumigate my apartment 1713 myself for several days because when I approached to tell them directly what was happening they told me that I had to do it through the portal to send the order, as if this were to wait more days, the indicated thing was to send a fumigator immediately for the entire building which was not the case. The old appliances I asked for a refrigerator to be replaced because it had water leaking and I spent all my time drying the floor every day and they brought me a used one and it was worse than the one I had, I had to ask for it. Ambien again and they brought me another one but, with the damaged door, every time you opened the door it sounded like the door was going to stay in your hand. This place is a disaster, it has been the worst experience in my thirty years living in Florida. I hope that when you read this message you analyze carefully whether you want to live in a place like this... I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT... The place is as bad as the administration that runs this building.
