San Lorenzo Condo

I lived for some time in this building, and for me it was a good experience. Yes, there are drawbacks since it is on a very busy avenue. There are indeed many accidents on 12 AV and you do find a lot of homeless people, but that's how it is throughout the building. Miami area but I had a good time during this time.

My apartment was broken into while living here. Thank god we weren’t home, who knows what would’ve happened if we were home. The building has extremely thin walls. Busy street where you can expect to hear sirens no less than 10 times a day. The noise from outside was so loud, , no volume could overcome it. During quarantine, I had to wear ear plugs from when i woke up and while I slept. Washing unit was obnoxiously loud. Drying unit absolutely destroyed our garments.  Balconies are always dirty because the air around the building is not clean due to cars and smog from Pinolandia. Electricity bill was pretty high and AC unit constantly leaks. Other tenants WILL try to steal your parking space. The pool was green all the time. Gym is tiny and equipment are old and rusty. You cannot walk around this neighborhood without having some spare change to help the unfortunate who sleep in front of the building sometimes. Witnessed over 25 accidents in front of the building in 4 years. I had to endure the racket from street preachers for 2 hours straight every night from 6 to 8 PM with terrible speakers that pierce through the thin storm doors that screech. Rude neighbors. Had little baggies of coke fall on my balcony, dirty water from inconsiderate neighbors falling on the balcony while i was chilling on the balcony. Uber/lyft is difficult to access here since the building is in an odd corner. COCKROACHES OMG!! Trash chute seems like no one cares to make that general process quick and easy/clean. Multiple packages stolen here and there was never an easy was to access the building when you have a visitor. Still dealing with the PTSD from living here but hey, you gotta live somewhere when times are rough…Had the utmost respect for management and wish the best for them but its just a rough time…consider your security deposit used and gone since the general circumstances of living in this building will wear you and the apartment down.
