From day 1, I had a good experience with management. They answered all my questions, and they fixed small problems. Overall, my staying for 3 years I had no issues. The place is nice. And they try to keep  the place in good shape. Unfortunately, it is not the place. Is that some people don't  appreciate it.

For Southpointe apartments I had an overall good experience.  While there were some issues, I always saw that management did their best to fix and repair those issues.  The management sent messages to their tenants to keep premises clean because there were people who left trash out and not placed in proper receptacle. So we all play our part in keeping the complex clean. I was hesitant at first to rent here because of the reviews but I had an overall good experience.  The person in office who helped me a lot was Kevin.  Kevin was very polite, extremely helpful, and would go above and beyond to help take care of any problem or issue I had with apartment.  When there was an appliance not working properly, I would put in request online and within a few days it was looked at.
The management also had constant communication as to things happening in our community.  They sent emails letting us know when lawn would be maintained, when trash was picked up, or upcoming holidays that would disrupt any service and when it would be back on track.
Yes, there was issues with the gate to the community.  But again, I always saw repair people coming by to look at issue.  I've lived in other gated communities and I would always see the issues there as well.
I also saw people from office go around community in carts, picking up and looking after the premises of the apartment complex.
One thing I would say is the apartments facing the main road, you hear a lot of traffic which can get noisy but other than that, it was a good place to live.

This place was by far the most unkept trashiest place I have ever lived. The office manager doesn’t care, they don’t keep the buildings clean. They find a way to get out of paying you back you security deposit. And they are steadily raising the rent and never upgrading anything. The gate is ALWAYS broken. I never had a screen door for as long as I lived there, dishwasher never worked, they do not change the air filters, we had to buy our own. The buildings are disgusting. This place has definitely gone down when the property management changed ownership. They are only interested in money. I have never had a roach problem but this place is INFESTED with fleas and ants everywhere. BEWARE!! I am so HAPPY I moved out of this place! P.S.They charge you for everything and then fix absolutely nothing, the leasing manager is a liar and her puppet aka assistant is a liar as well.  All they do is drive around the community. They was only maintenance man that actually worked and he is amazing. The other guys are LAZY!!

$25 extra a month to have my garbage collected, but yet I'm the one throwing out my garbage. I don't see any improvement to this place. I'm just waiting for the contract to be over. Everything is out dated, dog poop everywhere. The smell of 🌲 in and out the appointment it comes out of the vents. For the condition of living in this complex, it's not worth it.. I will not recommend this complex to anyone. Sorry but the picture of the garbage it was unbelievable.

“Luxury” apartments yet they don’t bother to answer most maintenance requests. I was home all day in the living room waiting to get something fixed, I go check the mail and apparently theres a note on the door saying “sorry we missed you” but nobody ever knocked or anything. Next the Valet Trash is a joke, they’re supposed to pick up the trash from Monday through Thursday but most of the time they only show up once a week and then they complain about having more than one trash bag piled up because  never show up or its “too heavy” when in reality even a kid could lift the bag. Another thing is the A/C filter we’re supposed to receive to replace the old one but both us and the neighbors hadn’t received any in months which lead to nasty air quality which had us all coughing nonstop and they didn’t fix this until multiple requests were put in. Lastly when I asked for a replacement of the lightbulb in my bedroom because it hasn’t worked in years and when you turn on the switch it smells like something is burning i was told “buy a new lightbulb” which i did and will be coming with me once I’m finally out of this garbage dump. And you can join in this hassle too for only $2000+ a month for a 2/2. PS: there are no reserved parking spots for residents and there are a lot of apartments that have 2-3 cars so get ready to have to park 3 buildings away because the luxury apartments care more about the weight of your trash than actually making this a good place to live.

I toured a one-bedroom/one-bath on the 22nd of April 2024. I was told that the unit I saw was available and that no one had applied yet. I applied that same night and called the very next day to start the process. The leasing agent I spoke to promised me that he would hold the apartment and I could move in this week. I was glad at how smooth the process was going. I am a military member, so I knew I would have no problems getting approved. The leasing agent again claimed that I would be first in line even if someone else applied. Thus, when I called on April 23rd, 2024, to ensure my application would be processed for the apartment I wanted, I was told by the very same leasing agent who promised me that apartment that someone had applied before me. However, that person was denied, and yet their application was pushed to corporate, and now they are getting the apartment. What's worse is the leasing agent told me he would hold on to my application since a similar unit might be available by the end of the month. But then, about two hours after I spoke to him, I saw on the Southpointe website that the one-bedroom would not be available until July 31st, 2024. I demand my application fee back because nothing was completed, and nothing was done to rectify this situation. I will not be reapplying, and I would like the property manager to give me a call.
