St. Tropez Apartments

We have been here for a year now and have no problems with maintenance or management. The property is kept clean. We just signed another year with them as we are pleased. Kudos to Jay in the leasing office last year when we signed up. The sales person had an emergency appt and did not get back to us in the middle of the process so Jay stepped in immediately to handle all of our documents, payments, etc. and had us moved in by that weekend as we hoped for. Jay even stayed late for us that day to sign the paperwork as we drove with our moving truck straight from Georgia. We barely made it by 5pm to the leasing office. Thanks Jay!

I have been living here at St. Tropez Plantation for almost 5 years. I have seen management come and go. Maintenance staff come and go. And I can say that Juan and his staff (Dulce, Jay, Monika and maintenance) are very friendly, considerate, hard working group of people. They have been having events to bring the community together. They have been making sure that the community is kept up and in the reviews below I see a lot of people try to blame them for the garbage, and roaches but to be totally honest it is not the staff that should be blamed it is the residents. If you don’t care about where you live then you can expect to see trash outside of the dumpsters and roaches in your apartment. They don’t live here 24/7 but when they are here they do their very best to make sure that things are getting done. My experience here is a great one. Thank you to the Juan and the staff at St. Tropez Plantation for all you do.

Just don't move here if you have other options, trust the reviews you see below, those people actually suffered. Those 4 or 5 star reviews are outliers. I lived there and I had the same complaints as everyone else. Also for management, don't even bother leaving your cringe responses under my review. Thanks

Been here for a while. My driveway and garage, right in front of my townhome is exactly what I needed. Last place I had to take stairs down to the parking garage if I left something in my car. Not fun. I like the 24/7 gym too.

Signing a lease here was one of the worst mistakes of my life. We lived here for three years and it was absolutely miserable. When we first moved in the ceilings had mold and rot all around the air vents to the point where part of the ceiling was MISSING in several rooms. Management said “guess we didn’t look up during the inspection.” I then had to badger them for weeks to get it fixed. They had some guy come and do popcorn ceiling, but it didn’t matter because the AC unit is old & leaks constanlty(which we had them “fix” multiple times) and we got mold AGAIN.
It got so bad that we ended up with mold toxicity, broke our lease to get the hell out, and finally now after 3 months of being out of that house, my children’s rashes are gone & I have stopped having a chronic cough.
The Maintenance team is one of the worst I’ve ever had to endure. I’ve been renting in various cities & states for 20 years, and I’ve never seen a lazier, more incompetent bunch. Asked them to fix my leaking kitchen sink and they never did. It leaked for THREE YEARS. And every time I brought it up, I was told “we have to order a part.”
Also, like every other review says…ROACHES. ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES. This place is disgusting. Almost 4K/month in rent to live in a roach infested place. And we gave up on maintenance and handled it ourselves. Whatever the hell they spray with doesn’t work. We ended up treating the whole place with ortho home defense to solve it ourselves.
And before I forget the pipes here are so old and clog constantly. My poor Nextdoor neighbor would have to empty his entire garage almost every other month so maintenance could unclog the buildings pipes. This meant his garage/driveway/the street was flooded with literal sewage.
Lastly, they claim they wanted to “beautify” the community. They are just cheap and didn’t want to pay the city for bulk pick up or emptying the dumpster.
What a stupid choice that was. People just dump trash everywhere anyway!! Look where the dumpsters used to be. It’s piles and piles of trash! Disgusting.
TLDR: don’t move here. It’s full of roaches, everything is broken, and there’s much better places in Plantation/Sunrise to live.

I CAME TO VISIT MY PARENTS AND THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE LUXURY APARTMENTS. HONESTLY PROJECT HOUSING IS KEPT UP BETTER THAN THIS. MY PARENTS PAY ALMOST $4000 IN RENT! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! THE CURRENT PROPERTY MANAGER RATHER GET FOLKS GUEST CARS TOWED AND HARASS THEM WITH THREATS TO BE EVICTED FOR NOTHING!! THAN TO FIX THIS TRASH AND THE CONDITIONS OF FOLKS APT!! ST TROPEZ DO BETTER PLEASE!!!!!!

I am absolutely very unhappy living in this community. I am ready to move from this community. This is my worst experience renting definitely won't be recommending to anyone I know.

Great place to live

Love this place, staff is great and my garage keeps my vehicle protected from that Florida sun.
