The Nautilus Luxury Apartments

I am a resident here for an entire year and this has possibly been the worst experience of my life. This place has a roach problem. An infestation. No matter how much you clean you will have roaches. There’s constantly mold growing in the hallways due to water damage every time it rains theres leaking in the hallway and all they ever do is paint over the mold. If you have a maintenance issue expect to wait an entire month or more to have it addressed. There is no useful office number and those working in the office always will always say that they don’t know anything and can’t do anything. Lastly, and worst of all, they’re scammers. My lease was to be renewed for a new year and instead I was served termination papers with no reason written as to why the agreement was being terminated, even though my rent has been paid in full and on time every single month with no incident. This place is supposedly “pet friendly” but when I asked the office for clarification as to why my lease was being terminated they said they have received complaints about my pets being unsecured when I have never at any point walked my dogs without a leash. I asked if they could provide any video or photographic proof of the made up incident and all they could tell me was to contact “corporate” through an email form and it has now been 48 hours  and multiple emails later and I have yet to have any response. There is no one interested in giving me information or helping me figure out what is happening with my lease and when I asked how long it takes to get a response it’s always “we don’t know”. These people don’t know anything. I’m not even sure why they have an office on site if it is completely useless to help their tenants. Everything goes through this elusive “corporate” entity that never responds to concerns of their tenets and doesn’t have a number to call or an email address to reach out to essentially leaving you completely in the dark whenever there is an issue. Not once in my entire year of living here have I ever heard back from this “corporate”. Now my entire living situation is in jeopardy and I am being given no answers by these people. Please do not give these people your money. Even if you do everything correctly and pay your rent on time and forgive the long waits for maintenance and the mold and roaches they will still screw you over just to move in new people and jack up the rent even more. After literal dozens of emails to this “corporate” entity I have still not received any response and it has been a full 7 days. Additionally, they have homeless people sleeping on and off the property and people’s cars are regularly broken into and they simply do nothing they don’t care but will make things up about you and belittle you and claim you’re an unsuitable tenet even though you’ve done nothing but pay your rent in full and on time every month while they continuously fail to hold up their end of the agreement.

Highly recommend not living in this complex. It’s too expensive for the services they provide. Let’s begin with the customer service provided to you as a resident…zero. Residents deserve the upmost respect and customer service and there is none. One admin that stuck out the most was Kathryn. She by far very unprofessional, rude, hypocritical and the list can go on. Quite frankly she should not have that job position, not a people person. I question how co-workers are treated if residents are treated poorly. Disrespectful as well. There is lack of communication between administrators and maintenance. Apparently, maintenance doesn’t get properly communicated with work orders from admin. Secondly, the maintenance staff take there time to complete tasks, if they’re even able to complete them. It shouldn’t take a week to receive an air filter. Some don’t even know what they’re doing. Maintenance duties are not just to cover up the issue with paint or wiping it down with bleach. Instead of replacing appliances, it’s spray painted. Due to the lack of maintenance keep up, the complex is infested with roaches, rats, mold, water leaks between the walls. A/C units not functioning properly and vents completely filthy which is a health concern. Walking through the hallways and entrances…there is mold on doors, the humidity is horrific, the stench of dog urine. Not inviting at all. The amenities area is not kept either. Don’t know about you, but wouldn’t want my children in a pool area where there is dog feces and the pool seems to always be filthy. This place needs new management and it’s far from being a “luxury apartment complex”.  Lastly, when a complaint is made the administration (Kathryn specifically) is very condescending and does not take care of the issue. The management team has poor values and should be genuinely helpful. This place is in desperate need of new management. Also heard that reviews may be removed since an employee of ours resides there but as a property management company ourselves we strive to do what’s right. This review will get across

If I could leave zero stars, I would give them that. Roaches and RATS everywhere

-The administration is terrible, the office lady who only speaks English is rude to everyone.
Definitely this was my worst experience in south Florida.

The buildings are infected with many rats and many cockroaches! Don't rent here.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!! My mother and elderly grandmother have lived here for less than a year an in that time the apartment has flooded several times causing mold and mildew damaging our breathing and safety on an ongoing basis. The emergency maintenance phone number is a joke they never answer even when my mother's apartment has flooded for days! My mother has had to call the fire department for help because no one from management or maintenance responds to her. If that wasn't the worse problem the apartment has rats and their only solution has been to set traps where my mother has to hear rats slowly die each and every single day but more keep coming. My mother's home is littered with rat feces and mold due to the poor management and even worse maintenance staff. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, the apartments are old, overpriced, filled with vandals and reeks of animal urine and feces throughout the entrance and property.

I live here in the nautilus not so luxury apartments. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I moved here. This place is infested with roaches and mice, the elevators constantly breakdown. They haven’t fixed our washer one our floor since sometime last year. I have complained to the leasing office aka Catherine more times than I can count. I have so much overwhelming evidence of roaches and mice in my apartment. They have not fixed it. I am now breaking the lease and moving out. I have tried to contact Corporate via a website Catherine suggested. I have went to Catherine too many times to plead her to someone to talk me, all she keeps telling me is she would forward the message there’s never any real results. If you are thinking of moving here, do not move here do not be fooled about the way it looks on the outside. In the inside it is dirty and disgusting and no one does anything to correct any issues around here. This issue with the roaches and mice and having no solution or anyone reach out or communicate has left me unbelievably stressed, and now I have to put together money to move out because I cannot live in an infested apartment. The city needs to condemn this building it is that bad. DO NOT MOVE HERE

My suggestion is paid a little extra money of rent do not live in filth
