Vista Verde at Deerwood

I have been living at Vista Verde for many years, it was great until more people that refuse to clean up after their pets started moving in, It is so offensive and disgusting. Imagine having to walk to check your mail and nothing but dog crap on the grass and side of concrete . I have complained multiple times and sent evidence of this kid of behavior and nothing seems to have changed. Lots more dog crap all over the property especially in the back where the grassed area is. Seems like this is a dog park area for some of these residents . I just cannot understand as a pet owner some of these people think its ok not to clean up after their Pets.  The size of the feces is unbelievable . I miss how this place used to be less dog crap and cleaner property . Imagine a public PARK cleaner than where you live how sad .The grassed area is supposed to be area for kids to play , family can sit by the grass and enjoy the fresh air.

I am a tenant and for the money I am paying for this apartment, they should have invested in elevators for their older population and the parking is horrible

Amazing community! Very friendly staff! Truly an oasis. Highly recommend.

One word: Thieves! If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The brand new property looks lovely, but management and staff aren't transparent. They tell you what you want to hear to get you to apply and make a reason to deny  you to collect the fees.
My credit is great and income  is even better. I hate that I basically  donated $250 to have my time wasted but I guess I dodged a bullet.

This apartment complex was good the first year... We rented for 3 years and recently (as of the end of November) parted ways. They started tearing up the place a year and a half ago. There is still no clubhouse, no pool and no playground and no security at night (no gates to close). Then they raised the rent. (a lot of nerve).  We decided it was not worth the mess and asked for a move out inspection prior to our lease date. We were told it had to be on the date of our lease.. Of course the new manager was not there so it was booked for a day after. During this inspection they said I would have to pay for repainting.. (so much for wear and tear) so ok that was 400.00 and of course the final water bill.  I also hired their carpet cleaning people and I paid to have all carpets cleaned and the apartment was spotless except some of the walls which could have been wiped if they used semi gloss paint. So then they decided to charge me a prorated rent amount of 191.16  because they would not do the walk through prior to the lease date... Seriously! They thought it was a great idea  before we moved to paint the master bathtub - who does that!. Then with regular washings of the tub one small area started to peel so they charged me 100.00 to repair that... I have 2 parking decals and lost one and they charged me 80.00 (40.00 each) even though I returned one... After I received the check and asked about this shortage I am told I should have not have cashed the check.  They owe me an additional 331.16 that I will never see... So renters beware you never get you deposit back they are dishonest and charge you for whatever they can so they can keep your money.

Do not move here very expensive no amenities the new property manager has a very bad attitude. Under construction for a while now and my side of the building  has no sidewalk at all it’s all rubble and rocks they didn’t advise anyone in these bustling that construction will begging and they adding new buildings and never told any tenants they lied and said they only fixing the office. Ac filters get changed every 3mnths even tho the filter is filthy they will tell you to buy one yourself. If you want a headache and stress this is the complex for you.

Update: I got a response saying to call Or email them but did not receive a number or email address to do so. There’s no way you mean to tell me I’m supposed to call or email the same people who’ve done nothing to help for 6 months.
Do not move here. Our move in was in May and since JUNE we have been putting in tickets because the dryer was leaking brown water all over the floor and our front door was wrecked. They tried telling me multiple times the dryer was either “lint build up” or I was using the dryer wrong. Like what???? After the 6th ticket someone finally got a roofer out and they changed our dryer to a new one… only for the dryer to be wet on the inside with standing water 3 days later. Literally nothing has been done and all we have gotten is the run around. NOW our front door has us trapped inside our apartment unless we use the force of 5 firefighters to get in and out. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD. And once again I keep getting the run around.. “the door is in china”, “we haven’t heard back from the vendor”, “we can’t just get the doors from Lowe’s”. So great, if there’s a fire in our apartment we will just parish. I’ve had it. I’ll be reporting this complex for its incompetence and lack of urgency in emergency matters. Not to mention there are ZERO amenities as everything is closed and under construction. So we are paying WAY TOO MUCH for absolutely nothing. We are furious.
