Windward Lakes Condominiums

The reviews are real. Pool has been closed for years. Roaches that can’t be controlled cause they won’t work the whole building cause they will not own one of the units in the buildings so you the bugs are just spreading, no parking, none of the amenities you pay for, rent is to high and the condos are not new, they are painted and flipped no proper cleaning done old rugs. And you have to drive you trash to one nasty dumpster. No to mention residents come up to your guests trying to sell them hard drugs.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This has to be one of the most horrible communities in Broward County. First, the community itself is run down, the pool and gym hasn't been opened in 3yrs and recently opened after increasing rent and tenants complaining that we have no amenities. According to maintenance, the pool isn't up to code, the city had it shut down, they just slapped paint on it and reopened, still not up to code so be very careful when using the pool. Second, most of the units are infested with german roaches, these roaches are in your homes and cars. They do nothing about it. Third, trash is EVERYWHERE ! This is more of a resident issue than property issue. There's only 1 garbage compactor for the entire community, we definitely need 2. Once the compactor is full, residents starts putting trash every where. Fourth, and this is the biggest one of them all, this falls under the Property management company but I will surely leave them a review as well. If you rent a unit and use HC Realty as your property manager, RUN. David is so incompetent and nothing will get done. I will write a separate review on them. If you can stay away from this community, do it ! You won't regret it. If you have to stay in the community, you have been warned by several and your best bet is to rent private owner. And let’s not talk about the so called security for the complex. He’s always asleep!

Nice apartment complex

No concern for trash in the neighborhood or in back of units. Maintenance people pass it everyday and I bring up the concern with the property managers and there is never a solution and or very little response of the matter. Clubhouse/office is always closed even when there is a clear sign of operation hours when they are suppose to be open. No one is ever attending the office/ clubhouse or taking responsibility in this complex. Not really sure how this complex complies

I wish I can put a 0, worst people to deal with, no customer service,  no sense of intelligence,,,, it's best if u live in the ghetto than this place.......

I been  here for 12yr this use to be a nice place to call home now the up keep is terrible. The only thing they care about is the garbage area that’s where security park on the weekend to make sure everyone is throwing it in the garage compactor!! This pool area been close since Covid I was told that the City of Pompano Beach want allow them to open it call the City said they have nothing to do with it they had no violations on file!! They older white guy in the office very rude and racist!! When you email them no one reply back in a timely manner!! Who is responsible for this I need answers!!
