Windward Lakes Condominiums

Just some of the things I see from my door cam. This entire complex is repulsive. No one respects anyone or anything around here. Trash is scattered everywhere all the time. No important issues are handled. Impossible to reach anyone in the office. Very unprofessional. The entire garbage situation is disgusting. Kids are left outside unattended to and tearing things up. No respect. I wouldn’t live here again for free!!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! They have been sued twice in the past two years for people being beat up on the property with so many drug dealers, crime raids happen all the time. They are infested with roaches and will tow your car without cause don’t bother calling the voicemail is always full pool never works there is no gym or access they will say they’re working on the gym for 5+ years this complex is the worst in this area and they own palm aire gardens so same thing there. Car breaks and theft in both complexes are ridiculous. You have been warned. Oh don’t let your AC go out either. Trash is everywhere, dog poop, and you kids cannot play outside with the drug dealers and people driving and drifting around corners. Disgusting

Piss poor living conditions. Amenities are non existent. Office never answer's emails never answer's the door when you knock on clubhouse. I've lived in New York & lived in better conditions. Only thing that increases here is the rent

* Don't answer or return calls or emails
* The office is always close
* Maintainance enters your apartment without notification...
* 7 day parking visitation for ur guest every 30 days what the flying foolishness....

The reviews are real. Pool has been closed for years. Roaches that can’t be controlled cause they won’t work the whole building cause they will not own one of the units in the buildings so you the bugs are just spreading, no parking, none of the amenities you pay for, rent is to high and the condos are not new, they are painted and flipped no proper cleaning done old rugs. And you have to drive you trash to one nasty dumpster. No to mention residents come up to your guests trying to sell them hard drugs.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This has to be one of the most horrible communities in Broward County. First, the community itself is run down, the pool and gym hasn't been opened in 3yrs and recently opened after increasing rent and tenants complaining that we have no amenities. According to maintenance, the pool isn't up to code, the city had it shut down, they just slapped paint on it and reopened, still not up to code so be very careful when using the pool. Second, most of the units are infested with german roaches, these roaches are in your homes and cars. They do nothing about it. Third, trash is EVERYWHERE ! This is more of a resident issue than property issue. There's only 1 garbage compactor for the entire community, we definitely need 2. Once the compactor is full, residents starts putting trash every where. Fourth, and this is the biggest one of them all, this falls under the Property management company but I will surely leave them a review as well. If you rent a unit and use HC Realty as your property manager, RUN. David is so incompetent and nothing will get done. I will write a separate review on them. If you can stay away from this community, do it ! You won't regret it. If you have to stay in the community, you have been warned by several and your best bet is to rent private owner. And let’s not talk about the so called security for the complex. He’s always asleep!
