Hi Elisa,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience at 4th Street has not met your expectations. Regarding the construction, we understand how disappointing it is to not be able to fully utilize your balcony or open windows. The ongoing work is imperative to prevent leaks and maintain the exterior of our building. We know it’s an inconvenience, but these repairs are necessary to enhance the overall living experience for all residents. Once the work on your side of the building is completed, the windows and balcony will be accessible for use again. As for the temporary parking displacement of 3 days, it was due to power washing and restriping of the garage, which we communicated to residents a week in advance. While we understand this wasn’t ideal, these improvements were made in response to resident concerns about the garage's appearance and maintenance.Concerning your injury, we take such matters very seriously. You mentioned that you sprained your ankle inside your apartment and attributed this to building negligence. However, no construction or repair work is currently being conducted inside apartments. Your email regarding the incident was reviewed, and our team responded within a few hours to gather more details and better understand your concerns. Unfortunately, we have not received a follow-up from you. If you believe negligence occurred, we encourage you to reply so we can address the issue promptly and ensure appropriate action is taken. Our team strives to assist every resident as efficiently as possible. If we miss your call, leaving a voicemail makes sure we can return your call as soon as possible. We apologize if this has not been your experience and are committed to improving communication with our residents. It seems you’re also frustrated with FIU regarding housing, parking, and costs. We encourage you to share these concerns directly with the university. Thank you for your feedback, and we’re here if you’d like to discuss further.
