Beautiful place  in the heart of Aventura -FL. Very safe

Very clean and organized.

I have not lived here, but as many of the bad reviews written here I did go through the horrid application process. They don't let renters have dogs, however, I have an ESA dog and they discredited it twice, had to get my doctor to directly contact them. They took 5 weeks to finally approve me, past my move in date, at which point I had already cancelled the contract and been approved within 2 days at a better condo. Regarding the "parking scam" people have written about, I did discuss this with Michael (he's probably the only good thing about this place) and he said it only happens to residents who park in visitors and vise versa. My previous condo, Village by the bay, always had the best interest of their residents and guests. If someone was parked in the wrong place they had the decency to call and inform that a car was at risk of being towed... they even helped me move my car when I was on vacation.. that's the kind of place I want to live in, not a place that tries to make a few bucks by booting people's cars who pay to be there.
On top of that, they are monitoring your every move with the cameras, I know because my dad installed them and some of the residents I spoke to had mentioned that they are quick to fine you with any mistake/ violation you make that they see through the cameras.
My suggestion is that if you're someone who doesn't have many visitors, have only one car, you're relaxed and mostly stay at home.. this may be the place for you. Otherwise, walk right next door to village by the bay and enjoy a place that treats you like you're their family.

The place is running a parking scam. They let  you in by opening the gate and tell you to park in guest spots and then a contracted company  comes by to boot your car. The Managment office and terrible security are partners in this scam. A 5 min stay led to 3:30 hours plus  $65  to remove the  boot.if you don’t pay , your car is held .  No one from management to security took ownership. It was their policy. My real estate agent and I and several other people were caught in the scam and paid $65 to the condo to get our cars free.

I rarely give reviews, but my experience trying to rent at Alaqua condo has been HORRIFIC! The management company is the worst along with their in -house lawyer of I can call it like that. They hold my application for 3 weeks without a response and then asked for additional documentation about my service dog. After I sent the docs, the management company and in-house lawyer basically questioned my integrity inclining my documents are false and asking for more docs which is against American with Disability Act! Unbelievable. I cancelled my application and moved on to another property. Disgraceful! Stay away from this property! They DONT comply with the law!
