I am a real estate appraiser with more than 2 decades(21years) of experience in Miami-Dade county. Certainly have had my share of negative experiences in sales/mgmt offices over the years. I was there today, to complete a very basic valuation of one of the units. I needed some simple questions answered by the mgmt office. After being buzzed in, i noticed the only employee in the office, was on a zoom call, discussing what sounded enough like work related stuff. I waited patiently for about 15 minutes, looking at books, at the pool area through the window, and contemplating life. Finally, the call was wrapping up on the other end, but it seems, the woman in the office was trying hard to extend the call, for some unknown reason, being that someone was standing only feet away, and waiting for help. Still on the call, she asked what i needed, at which point i informed her i was apprising a unit and had a few simple questions. I also needed access through the gate. SHe encouraged me to first gain access and then return so she could finish her meeting. I obliged, and expressed that i wish she had made this request 15 minutes ago instead of letting me wait inefficiently inside first. Long story short, when i returned, this incompetent, unscrupulous hag refused to allow me back in. I can assume that she was afraid i would expose her lack of community knowledge, since i have encountered this before. I take pride in my work, but unfortunately, my work depends on reliable information form the best possible source, in this case, the community, My work is only as good as the data i have. A community is ONLY as good as those who live and work in it, and any complaint about incompetence or ignorance perpetrated by the mgmt staff would be easily believed by me after this encounter. Sorry to the residents, this is a bad sign. Try not to live here.
