Belasera at Pine Island Condominiums

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with the HOA at Belasera in Plantation, FL. From my very first interaction, the Hispanic woman in the HOA office was unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. She immediately rejected my paperwork without properly reviewing it and gave me a hard time for no reason. After insisting that I return the following week with additional paperwork, she then proceeded to take my original application anyway. Things only got worse from there. Despite having no criminal record, she falsely claimed that I had one, which is completely unacceptable and slanderous. It became evident that I was being racially profiled throughout this entire process. After the homeowner had already accepted my offer, the HOA still denied my application, yet they had no problem taking my deposit. This is not just unfair—it’s discriminatory and unethical.
As a teacher in Broward County, I have passed all the necessary background checks to educate children, yet according to this HOA, I’m somehow not fit to live in their community. That speaks volumes about their bias and their flawed system. It’s disheartening to see that in 2025, people are still being treated unfairly based on prejudice rather than facts.
To anyone considering moving into Belasera, be aware of the kind of treatment you may receive. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. And to the woman in that office—may God bless you, because clearly, you need it.

Great place, great location! Under new management. They are cleaning up the house, I've been living here for 6 years and I see the changes. If you dont register your vehicle with the office they will tow your car

Excellent place to live. Quiet and with great amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, gym and tennis courts. Great location. Right next to Plantation Walk, minutes from University Drive, and I 595. In the heart of Plantation. Under the new management the community is 100% better, it is very well maintained  and EVERYTHING works. People who don’t like to follow the rules complain. The rules make our community safe, clean and beautiful.

WARNING ***.   ***WARNING. ***. ***WARNING. *** Naomi is ABSOLUTELY the WORST person to deal with!!!   She was given all of the paperwork required.  All of the deposits were made immediately upon request.  Naomi would request information that is not even required to purchase a new home.  I have hired an attorney to get my paperwork returned.  The condo owners should be informed about how the HOA president treats
potential tenants.

Worst association ever, the management doesn’t have respect for anybody, a sick Ladie without ac for 4 days and their literal answer is: “we have more important things to do that worry about someone without air conditioner”

I've been living at Belasera for 2 years and I must say it has been a wonderful experience ! Beautiful complex , great location. Naomi at the front desk is very helpful. I was able to buy my first house so I will be moving out next month. Thank you so much! and best of luck

This place is a freaking rip off. My family member was with the Housing Authority Agency so I know their background was clean . But after paying  the application fee for two people total $300. I think her name was Christina, she was so nice at the beginning but after everything was finalized she changed and informed us that the application was denied without any probable cause. This place is a JOKE

Very nice modern and new

I've been living here for a year now and I love it. Nice community, family friendly very quiet and safe. Naomi at the office is very helpful, make sure you get your guest parking pass , they tow everyday. Nice place for families

Pool is been closed for almost a year. The playground is a mess. There is weed smell Al over the hallways and the building is infested with roaches. Management changes quite often so no one is hold accountable.
