Took the building 4+ years to fix the pool which was empty. We gave up and moved out. Management company personnel has turned over several times and are particularly nasty. Great location. Underground garage always has water all over the floors. Don't be fooled by the great looking lobby. Structural integrity problems pre-dated by years the very minor plane crash. Entire building exterior and ALL balconies had to be re-done. We had no pool for 4+ years and no balcony for over 18 months. Huge turnover. Since we bought there about 7 years ago, 5 of the 6 units on our side of the floor have been sold. This review is almost 1 year old. We moved 1 mile down the road into another far superior condo and pass the Berkley regularly. The exterior of the building remains 70% painted and 30% unpainted - just the way it was when we move out about a year ago. If you can't resist looking at an apt in the building make sure to visit the garage which remains so wet 24/7 that 35% of the garage is unusable for parking.
Note: It is now 2022, the pool is still empty, the garage has water and the exterior of the building remains 2/3 painted.
Update 9/23: We pass the building daily. It remains 1/3 unpainted. Cracks and patchwork are visible on the sides of the building that were not repainted. Patches were applied years ago and remain unpainted. Water remains 24/7 on 1/3 of the floor of the garage. Parking lot in back is cracked asphalt which was supposed to be re-done years ago. Awnings have fallen off and not been replaced. There are no contractors on the job nor have there been any for about a year. As of a few months ago, the pool was still empty although some trees were installed around the pool area. Building a hotel and a Publix across the street which will block views of many apartments facing north w/ ocean views. Many units below the 9th fl will lose their ocean views. Not one single owner who was on our floor 7 years ago remains. ALL have moved out.
