I own a unit in this building. The staff is super accommodating and everyone acts like family. The building is a little bit older, but has been undergoing extensive renovations and updates. The location is absolutely fantastic. You can walk to everything I love my apartment and now with these renovations, Burleigh house will truly be the jewel of North Beach.

Horrible, absolutely horrible experience ...
Horrible, absolutely horrible experience. They truly live in the 1800. It’s quite unbelievable that buildings still operate like this. Not only that everything you do has to go thru their office, but that office is only opened 3 days a week. Needless to say I’m not going to take days off work to rezolve this. I asked to WFH so I can go to the office  and guess what: they don’t take cards or cash for the door fob and parking garage. I could’ve resolved everything on the spot but no. They only accept checks 😂. Pool has been closed for years, yet nobody’s working on it nor has in the past few years. It took them over 2 months to accept my application, in which time I had to get an Airbnb so basically, I spent 5 times the rent in these 2 months. I went on vacation and when I got back I STILL had to get an Airbnb. And now I’m trying to get internet and guess what. Nobody can help me. They never sent the actual lease agreement, it’s been weeks since I’m trying to get WiFi. Truly unbelievable.  RUN RUN RUN. I wish I knew this was stuck in the 1800 before I applied. You will end up wasting so much money you wish you had never been offered the option to live here. Disgusting, disrespectful, nobody cares about your situation. NOBODY. I do want to say that people at the desk and maintenance are kind and helpful.

‼️🚨‼️ALERT🚨‼️ Avoid this 50+ year old building at all costs!!!! This 50 year old  building cannot go a couple days without another issue. Broken pipes (no water) every other week. Elevators are broken down a couple times a month, forcing residents and the elderly to take the stairs or be forced to remain in their apartment until they slowly fix the problem (ADA lawsuit incoming). High electricity bills due to non existent insulation. Air conditioning towers break down every other week (No AC) Pool has been under renovation at a snails pace for over 6 years with a non existent update blaming everyone and anything but the management for the lack of progress. Zero management whatsoever for Owners/Renters. Management office is never operational and is open depending on the building managers mood or how often they’re getting forced to produce paperwork due to getting sued. Building staff isn’t the brightest but overall maintain a cordial relationship with the residents. Real Estate agents will sell you a dream to a building that is over 50 years old and in desperate need of repair. DO NOT BUY OR RENT until you see the new assessment and/or talk to longstanding residents!!! Do NOT be afraid to sue and report the building due to any infraction/liability that you see.
